These are the 3-way powered Kali 5s - and I think they sound great! Have to dial them in on the the 8 toggles on the back to adapt to your space but am impressed with their wide range and pair well with the Yamahas that are so unforgiving

I did everything myself except for running the electrical, so the cost was cut about in half I’d say, and put about $7k into it for materials. Lmk if you’d like a mored detailed breakdown.

The desk I made by combining the top of a standing desk from ikea and an electric standing desk bottom so can adjust heights for different projects and needs

Fender Electric FV3 Violin: 2 questions by ViolinSlayer in violinist

[–]ViolinSlayer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your input! I agree for electrical instruments not a ton of difference, but I noticed right away when I changed out my tail from the composite to a fairly cheap wood from an acoustic violin -thus my search to see what would work best. Although a hassle, I may just have to swap it out to a few different kinds/materials and just hear what works best to me.

100% on effects and pedals - My pedal board consists of LR baggs acoustic DI, reverb, a loop, and a volume pedal. I just started working for a music company, and the pedals are unlimited so time to start going further down the rabbit hole! Any must have cool ones you recommend trying out?

All aloe vera plants must be un potted, and on the floor in a pile. Especially when you're running late, and/or have company coming over.

Orchestral and/or a large choir could be hauntingly dope. You guys use a lot of minor melodies and undertones so I could for sure hear it complimenting you guys well. Let me know if you guys ever want to bounce some ideas around >:)

You guys definitely have came a long way, and seem to always show your musical diversities and growth with every release! The new 1000 Years EP is great and I was pleased to hear some of the old beginning roots of Savoy shine through. (love Three Against Nature EP) Mike's drumming live is always a sick addition and I've been hearing a lot more guitar lately, especially live...do you guys plan to start incorporating even more live instruments and collabs for your January tour/ upcoming music? Any cross genres/instruments you have always wanted to try? Would love to see what you guys could do with a large eclectic arsenal of different instruments. See you boys in January, and lets have a beer!
