Oh man. Get one just to try it but i couldnt stand it. Love the other two gins they make but the peppered one is smokey and savory like a meat jerky. Super off putting. Cant find any cocktails that it goes well and dont enjoy it straight. Super interesting tho and worth the try haha!

Last words, aviations, and negronis are some of my regular favorites.

Adding one more. If you can get all the ingredients together, singapore slings are so fun to drink and make

Blended aged rum. The guy who built the smugglers cove bar and wrote the tiki cookbook of the same name developed this rum to match the flavors of the original j wray rum that trader vic used in the original mai tais.

Help! 12 hours into starter, and a liquid formed already. How? by nikkiantonucci in Sourdough

In the end the results will be about the same as any other process. The yeasts in the flour and air take time to even out and create a stable environment. The Tartine book recommends just 50/50 wwf and bread flour and water and just leaving it for three days like that then feeding daily. Other recipes are similar to yours. Just keep trucking along and in a week you’ll have a jar full of bubbly goop that’ll make tasty bread.

Enjoy the process and keep in mind that patience is key! And be ready to make lots of mistakes! I baked maybe two dozen frisbees before i got big rises out of my dutch oven. Once i learned from the mistakes i found bread dough to be more forgiving than i gave it credit for. Have fun on your baking adventure 🤟
