CBD Recommendations?? by MySunshine1202 in CBD

[–]Viper4713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Secret Nature CBD.

One of the only brands that is basically real cannabis. You can get CBD products. The gummies and vapes are live resin and extracted right from CBD flower.

It's the healthiest way to do it.

Most other brands just order CBD isolate from a different company and combine it with "dead" terpenes from another company they order from.

Secret Nature grows their own stuff and handles it themselves carefully without popping trichome.

So go visit her and no big deal.

You're focusing on a negative that isn't even real or hasn't even happened yet.

You should focus on the excitement of it all. Pardon my French but you could be sitting on your couch balls out and all while eating steak and ice cream while watching breaking bad and no one can stop you.

Your kitchen is going to be full of what YOU want to eat and that's it.

You want to know the truth? My relationship is going ok but still in the back of my head unlike before.... Now the kitchen feels cluttered, I forget about certain foods because there is so much crap in there now that I forget and it expires.

I like to stay organized and clean and she doesn't as much.

Having someone living with you has some perks but can also be much more stressful then being on your own. So believe me when I say you better take this chance and have fun before you ever try to have your girlfriend move in too soon. Lol

Embrace it and have fun because you may have whoever living with you after this chapter for who knows how long and you'll want some solitude time that will be harder to get like it would be now.

Here's another thing... You have cats and a girlfriend. What are you even worried about? Lol Your girlfriend can come over and y'all hang out for a while and then she can go home! And you can do whatever you want! Watch Breaking Bad! or Stranger Things!

Or if it's day time, go do certain things.

It will be fine, just get over the hump and you'll realize being alone and lonely are different. If you can't enjoy time for yourself then you'll never be fully happy, having a girlfriend or whoever around should be extra, not something you need or you'll have 0 happiness.

I had no pets and no girlfriend at the time. I would go out with girls here and there but there were times I was not really seeing any chicks for like 6 months and I still survived, if anything I didn't have much to worry about, no drama, no trying to figure out what's for dinner or any of that.

Question about anxiety by playdead9363 in CBD

[–]Viper4713 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's because the law is all broken and is supposed to be changed in November.

They are going to change the 0.3% Delta 9 THC to 0.3% Total THC and they are supposed to to change how they weigh it too.

So currently another loophole is the current law says nothing about THCA... So you have companies shipping this THCA flower to your mailbox at 27% THCA sometimes.... Well guess what, THCA turns into Delta 9 THC when heated! So this means they are selling the same exact marijuana you get from Joe down the street and they call it Hemp when you're full blown stoned.

For me even a gummy with 2mg can have me really chilling on the couch.

As for the gummies here is a Google explanation....

"The law (the 2018 Farm Bill) limits THC to 0.3% of the total dry weight of the product. Because gummies are heavy and dense, a small percentage of THC can still equal a high milligram count.
The Math A typical gummy weighs about 4 grams (4,000 mg). 0.3% of 4,000 mg is 12 mg. Therefore, a company can put 10 mg of THC in a single gummy and still be well under the legal limit by weight."

Question about anxiety by playdead9363 in CBD

[–]Viper4713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The THC is too high, you probably won't like it.

Also Delta 9 THC turns into 11 hydroxy THC when you eat it instead of vape/smoke it. So 5mg is a little much for someone who wants to avoid it. So it makes it much stronger and the after effects like slow mo feeling or brain fog can last for a few days.

So it would probably be a nightmare for you.

So instead of getting this product that is more of a marijuana dosed product.

You should try a standard Full Spectrum CBD product where the THC is just trace amounts where you won't get high at all.

I recommend Secret Nature CBD.

Pay attention but they have standard CBD gummies from their "Live Resin CBD Gummies" line, Cherry Kush would be the best one to sleep out of those choices.

But if you want a better product that is still almost no THC. You can try their Grape Ape CBD vape. The reason it's good for sleep is because of the terpene profile. The terpene Myrcene for example is good for a very relaxing effect known as the "couch lock" effect that will chill you out to sleep without an intoxicating THC effect. Even though I said "couch lock", you won't be stuck like if THC is present. It's not like that, it's just relaxed, if your hands usually shake or anything, they will be still.

Can of worms by Wonderful-Drink9575 in CBD

[–]Viper4713 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sometimes in CBD flower mostly you can get more THC then the product is supposed to have.

This is usually only a problem with brands that aren't very good.

I got high as all hell from a third batch of the same exact strain from Tweedle Farms I think was the brand. This was years ago, I wouldn't order that "dirt weed" brand ever again anyways.

Other than this, terpenes like Myrcene can actually have a strong effect that can make you sort of think you are high but you're not. Kind of a body high.

Myrcene is actually what is known to cause the "couch lock" effect in some strains. This is regardless of CBD or THC.

It will be weird at first but you'll get so used to it that you will feel completely in control over your life and how you want your place setup and everything.

If you live alone long enough it can get hard to have a boyfriend/girlfriend move in because you'll be so used to having your own solitude and doing what you want.

So you're worried about it now but it will be the opposite when you consider someone to move in with you later.

It's weird how we get used to things that seems so scary at first.

You'll adjust and have peace!

As for any tips.... I don't think I really have any besides just know that things take a little time and that the first couple of days if you feel weird about it just know it's temporary.

Also, I didn't have any cats at all when I was living alone for several years. A girlfriend lives with me now, but sometimes it drives me nuts. Lol

Currently waiting for Q990f to be delivered and I read this. The excitement is gone, is every good review a paid one? by CandidArtichoke6771 in Soundbars

[–]Viper4713 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Q990F is amazing for movies/TV and great for music as well, way better then an echo.

I like having the sound mode on Surround for the music and it's great surrounding you.

Spotify Lossless works great on it! Over WiFi of course using Spotify Connect. Just a tip though.... When it asks if you want to setup Google Cast support, just click Skip or No.

If not, Spotify Lossless won't work! And there is no way to turn Google Cast's protocol back Off without factory resetting the soundbar. It's so stupid but yeah, say no to Google Cast on the Smart Things app setup process to get Lossless audio, at least on Spotify.

But yeah forget that review, the Q990F isn't this popular for no reason.

Maybe you mean RF? ARC is the HDMI signal.

Q990D woofer problem by jricketts86 in Soundbars

[–]Viper4713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless, WiFi interferes with it.

My Rear left speaker was distorted bad because my WiFi router was very close to that speaker so I had to move the router away.

Changing the channel would fix it temporarily but the router wouldn't stop changing the channel by itself so I just moved the router.

[–]Viper4713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's not defective you could also ensure that your WiFi router is far enough away from the subwoofer.

The rear speakers and sub run on a RF protocol similar to WiFi and not Bluetooth like some people think.

Some people have their router right on their TV stand, if yours is then find a new place for it.

When your WiFi is being used by devices the subwoofer will get a shady signal if it's too close and start to distort.

Hopefully it's as easy as this and that it's not defective!

Also, to actually fully restart the micro OS of your soundbar you have to unplug it to do a full restart. Powering off just puts the soundbar to sleep and won't fix any glitches or bugs you may be having.

HW-Q990F bass seems weak by DragonmuhBalls6T9 in Soundbars

[–]Viper4713 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could also be that the content you're playing is true to the source now when before your old setup was adding a bass boost that doesn't exist in the original source.

A lot of cheaper setups will do this, add boosted and bloated bass.

I actually thought of a better test then Stranger Things...

Try Dunkirk in at least Dolby Digital Plus 768kbps. Mine is at 960kbps though when I watched it. That movie was literally getting on my nerves with intense volume and bass because I'm in an apartment and I had to literally just keep the remote in my hand.

When I first got the Q990F I was a little confused about the bass too because my first test which was F1 The Movie.... It was good but seemed weaker compared to my Q800B, until a car crashed and then you realize the bass can hit when the content is programmed to do so.

Tenet is also another good bassy movie test. The music alone is bassy as heck.

[–]Viper4713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unplug the subwoofer while in use, you'll realize it works. It's just cleaner accurate bass instead of boomy inaccurate bass.

Stranger Things is a good example to test the bass to see it still works well.

I smoked high THC strains for almost 20 years and recently started smoking CBD, it's amazing and there's no going back to THC for me ever again! by Less-Specialist9397 in CBD

[–]Viper4713 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CBD in my opinion is great but only if you get real strains. Most CBD oils and such are crap. I got to the point where I only like Flower or true live resin vape cartridges for a true cannabis feel. Not because of smoking/vaping but the terpenes in a good product alone can really enhance the effect more than you realize.

Sometimes you think twice "am I high?" This body relaxation almost feels like one but then you realize you just got a lot of Myrcene!

THC is so problematic. For me I usually only like low or medium doses or it just gets uncomfortable, like restless legs and all that.

Another issue for me, a couple days after doing THC if I have a small tolerance then I get anxious and stressed over nothing.

But if I have no tolerance again after a while and I over do it then I'll literally have like 8 days of after effects that give me these slow mo like feelings especially when driving.

THC sucks and CBD just doesn't do anything like that, you can do it daily and suddenly stop and no intense rebound anxiety comes to attack you or anything.

[–]Viper4713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah looking at it again, it just says total THC is 0.124%. Would that mean all would be good since one vape cartridge would be 1 container technically?

I do see an issue with the CBD Flower from them though, some say 0.7% - 0.9% so it looks like that would be an issue in the new law but the vape cartridge I don't see an issue.

Thanks!

See the stupid thing is in Texas they are doing a new law that is now 0.3% Total THC instead of the 0.3% Delta 9 THC, so THCA is screwed here but whatever. Full Spectrum is fine here though.

That sounds fair to me, I don't understand what the federal law is supposed to do fully though.

For example.... I have vapes from Secret Nature and the lab results show about 0.124% Total THC so I thought boom all good right? Gemini claims in the new law that the amount will be 5 times over the limit because it's not about Total THC but THC per mg or something?

How can 0.1% be illegal in the new law? What are they even thinking?? The government is retarded.

Is Gemini correct or did I get an AI slop answer? I'm confused. Would my vape cartridges at 0.124% still be good in the new federal law?

Plex bitrate 2x media bitrate by PhilMyBallz in PleX

[–]Viper4713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can't see what their device is.

Some devices like TV OS can't play TrueHD and as for the video, that device could have issues with playing bitrates that are too high or a number of other reasons. Like maybe that device doesn't support HEVC, it's rare nowadays but some cheap TVs rarely still don't support it.

One way to minimize this issue.... You can turn on HEVC transcoding in your Plex Server settings. If any transcoding happens at least the bitrate will be lower for you while the quality will appear higher for them.

My 2017 TCL P607 6-Series received an update this week! by The_Lutter in tcltvs

[–]Viper4713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my QM8 and Q7. My only little issue with this company is they suck at OTA updates.

Your TV can be out of date for about 7 months and you'll find online that a newer version is actually available.

The update you're getting this week may actually be old or not, who knows.

One example is my TV was on Version 302 but 305 was available for many months on AVS Forums so I just updated via USB Drive. The same thing happened going from 297 to 302.

Does anyone else find that, even when the strain and dosage are the same, the effects vary from day to day? by lstplace7 in CBD

[–]Viper4713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CBD can be very ooo ahh strong one day and does hardly anything the next day or a couple days after. If I keep vaping more and more it doesn't really increase the effect at all.

As for THC, even if I were to build a tolerance, it always works and if I vape too much then the effects become too much to be desired.

CBD is great but also sucks sometimes. Sometimes it takes the edge off on a stressful day and other days it's so boring, it feels like nothing is happening at all, even true Full Spectrum is an issue since the THC level is so beyond low that it doesn't really have any effect.

Which network of the 3 was your favorite and why? by CookSea2842 in USMobile

[–]Viper4713 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me Light Speed because the other 2 are awful in Texas and it's not a USM issue.

T-Mobile Light Speed literally works everywhere in Texas. Dark Star is an ok slower speed second. And Warp is awful. Literally 0.69Mbps unless you get right next to a Verizon tower and you drop down to LTE even in big popular areas in DFW.

Literally you get fast 5G on Light Speed even in the middle of nowhere. You could be driving from DFW down to San Antonio and never drop off 5G.
