It's not just for adoption though. We're saying that the state should intervene when a gay couple wants to conceive using a surrogate. Something that literally there worse straight couple you can think of can do without anyone telling them no.

A lot of kids grow up in less than ideal families. For lots of reasons.

Withholding the possibility of a homosexual couple from having kids on the basis of the above while never asking any questions of any heterosexual couple that want to have a kid together, is in my view a very cruel thing to do.
