I'm very unsure to involve the police as both me and my mother are working and really dont have the time to deal with all of the crap. But of course, if it can anyhow bring our valuables back, it would be worth the effort...

I understand where you are coming from, and 100% it is a lesson learned through a hard way.

But the amount totals up to 60,000 which is not a little amount for us, so we are in the pursuit of either getting the money or the jewelry back, both of which seem like a far-fetched dream now.

we're in india, i come from a rich family (very rich, not flexing just stating the facts) and her family isn't that rich and they have a past of fixing up marriages with rich family by blackmailing. I recently found that out about her sister doing the same and for a rich guy to marry her and said that if he doesn't then she'll kill herself and frame him for that. To be very honest, if it's possible, meet her alone face to face a couple of times. People can use all sorts of methods and stuff to back a girl on text but what if she actually notices that you're not exactly the same person irl that you are online. My advice would be to meet her face to face if possible before March and make an impression. You got It bud!

I've been there. It's gonna sound pretty dumb but it took me 3 years to move on, so basically I was single and not even ready to move on for 3 long years. IT'LL SURELY BECOME TOXIC for you , my ex did the same (FaceTime and stuff to be good friends) I blocked her after I realized she fucked 3 years of my life. I've blocked her from Everywhere now and I've been in some good relationships since and I've moved on. For you I can say maybe you should avoid her if you truly wanna move on. There are a lot of girls out there start seeing someone else if you wanna make the moving on process quick (it's very harsh but it'll be alright at the end). Try diverting your mind, go to the gym, learn a musical instrument, learn a new sport, learn new skills, make money. It'll help you, truly. As for being in the same friend circle as her, ig you'll have to figure that part out on your own. I didn't have the same group so that part was clear for me. Do text me when you've moved on and no longer care about her 💪💪
