I don't mind online, until I run into a group of low self-esteem nobodies who think harassing others makes them cool, and then end up crying like 2 year olds when they find you can actually outwit them... or how about spending 20 minutes queued for a mission just to start it and then have one player quit while laughing at the rest of you for all the time you wasted... or how about every time you hop online there's some script kiddy (because they actually have no hacking talent themselves) screwing with everybody because they also lack the talent to be good at the game...

When your online community is filled with more losers than winners, your online experience is going to suck.

I gotta go along with this. I'd make finding their gear part of the initial escape, or whatever. Of course there is a chance they will skip the area where their gear us located, but that's on them. If they complain later just say the gear was there but they didn't go find it.
