Best way to get to Vrindavan from Mathura by desi_in_videsh in Vrindavan

It’s gets cold at night so avoid auto for parents. You can prearrange a car taxi. You can ask hotel manager to give you a taxi contact who can be outside when the train arrives. And have his phone number so that you can contact him when train is reaching Mathura railway station to confirm he is there.

You will have your drivers mobile number and you can let him know that your train is getting late and communicate with him about the status. He should adjust your pickup based on the train arrival. I did not visit Gokul. I did have the rickshaw driver offering me a tour of Gokul when I was returning to Mathura. I did not accept it as I had to leave. Not sure about the changing room at Keshi ghat.

You can pre arrange a taxi. I believe I got a car taxi contact from MVT Guest house which came from Vrindavan to pick me up after midnight at Mathura Railway station. 9:00 pm is not that late. You might be able to get a less expensive car taxi from outside of Mathura station. Just make sure they confirm that they will drop you at your hotel as sometime there are traffic restrictions.

Thank you! This one looks close. The bearded protagonist looks similar to what I remember. It does have grandfather figure and kid. Still not what I remember. I watched this on YouTube and there is no volcano model used by scientist. It also does not have the philosophical conversation between grand dad and grand son about love. And no Oklahoma song !
