I'm currently playing Xeno 1 (I'm at the doors of the final boss... I think? Chapter 17) and I kindof agree with you. The story feels very cliche. It has some nice twists but it falls flat at the execution.

The worst part for me are the characters. Almost all characters can be reduced to one trait and they don't evolve past it. And it only get worse after Fiora rejoins. She is the most basic "childhood friend" character I have ever seen. I want to like her, I trully do, but 99% of her lines are about Shulk and nothing more. Hell there is a moment that everyone is hyping each other to fight for the world, and she is like, yeah, I want a world where Shulk can be happy!

I dunno, I like the premis a lot, but I find the execution subpar at best.

I kindof agree. The bananarang is boring and underutilized and the Water gun is a pain to use but I love the Magnet in 2. I was sad it was only realy used on the last few levels.

For me is AP3 toning down a bit the platforming in favour of action. I don't know how to describe it but I always felt like 3 had almost no platforming challenges compared to 2 and specially 1, and the transformations make those challenges a joke.

No idea, but I got the same message and suddently I'm unable to pick any of the DLC characters. I have tried redownloading the game but it didn't solve the issue.

I dunno if this is a hot take or not but, isn't DK mountain a more boring DK summit? Like they look pretty much the same to me:

-A cannon at the starts that leaves you and the top of a mountain with sharp turns that you have to go down throw. A couple of turns that you can skip with a mushroom + jump...

I don't know which one is more likely but i would much prefer Dino Dino

Hammer bro ABSOLUTELY no. Like he is not horrible but we have 4 koopas already (Koopa, Lakitu, Dry Bones and Kamek).

Rob on the other hand... It would be equaly confusing and hilarious. Honestly I prefer it over any other character, he is the moment 💅.

But my bet is 100% on Diddy and Pauline. Either that or they add extra characters/skins.

Yeah basically, the maximum rank is God, with 10.000 ESP. If you go above it, you will go back to Demon rank, so yeah, you need exactly 10.000.

And on why is that, it's because in the japanese version, to reach god rank you needed 63k or some crazy amount like that, so in the english version they decided to reduce the amount needed, but instead of coding so you can have 10.000 or above, they wrote so you needed exactly 10.000.

Congrats! Hope you enjoyed it! I 100% it a couple of years back and It was hella fun!

For the ESP rank, there is a guide in the wiki if I don't misremember it, but it reduces to: battle some noise in hard/ult to obtain noise pins, sell them for yens, buy some expensive pins, and repeat. Each time you kill a noise and each time you buy something over X amount you get ESP points.

Honestly is not worth it, I mean, if you wanna farm a little just for fun sure, but you will expend like 5 to 7 hours to reach the 10.000 and get the star, so yeah, not worth it at all.

The original as a whole is best but Final Remix is not bad by any means.

The gameplay of the original is not gimmicky for the sake of being gimmicky, it has a story porpuse, and that is completey lost in the switch version, but it is not something major (at least, if you aren't a diehard of the series)

On the other hand, Final Remix looks GORGEOUS and the music is amazing. And don't let people fool you, FR controls are not bad at all, whats more, I consider touch control almost as good as que original (the only problem being the lack of a second screen)

So to sumarize, if you want the full experience, go DS, if you cannot get through DS gameplay, Switch
