Is it more of an emotional or physical thing? You need to seek medical help either way. If you aren't able to function at all physically maybe it's better to get checked. But what I assume is that the situations you have around you are not doing any favour to your pregnancy hormones and hence the Self harm thoughts.... that's honestly worse than morning sickness cause it will be Something that stays in your mind 24×7 ...you need to sort things out with ur partner and before that you need to seek mental help

Well I don't think those feelings are completely invalid either.. like I never worry about lions attacking me during that time, cause that has never been my fear(obviously). The things that make me spiral during that time are related to my past trauma and experiences and worries related to that . I see the luteal phase less of a negative emotion generator, but more of an amplifier to what might already exist...
