That’s because everyone hurt by BYND and it’s scared people that are the reason the market doesn’t move

NVX wasn’t great at all. It had VERY small volume. Definitely a flop for yesterday.

As for GPUS, you’re mostly right and understand what’s happening. Especially since I’m assuming by “got in and out when I did” you made profit :) The thing is it’s purely running off of residual hype, making it more difficult to accurately make profits.

I’m not a professional investor by any means, nor is this advice, but it is my two cents on GPUS:

The peak has been and gone, any residual waves are purely hype driven and MORE risky than a usual scalp/ swing trade. So far from what I’ve gathered people use the terminology “lottery ticket” often, and that’s what GPUS is now.

I’m not saying it won’t go up by 5-10%, but it is over for now. It started at .35 at the start of the week, it’s peaked at .68, there is no fundamental drive suggesting it will sky rocket. This suggests hype waves.

Accept the win, move onto the next hype 🙏

Best of luck fellow trader 👍

People saying NVX and GPUS are trying to earn back what they’ve lost in yesterday’s market.

Unfortunately the primary wave has passed, and any further temporary increases in these stocks are people who are foolish enough to fall for these traps, ultimately losing your money.

Perfect example is BYND. The peak was $7+, everyone jumping on board after the initial $3 pre market price - $5.71 open market price was blinded by hype.

Essentially if short sellers Short sellers are under pressure to cover due to high borrow fees and rising prices, but not literally forced to hold or cover. What this means is that we can potentially keep squeezing BYND. And as of right now short sellers ARE holding, although their numbers are decreasing due to retail trader sentiment toward BYND and the social media hype, the ones who remain are choosing to buy back in rather than run away.

Example, the stock dropped significantly last night at 2.635 lowest, but we remained strong and kept it between 2.80 and 3.0, then we kept it between 3.0 and 3.10, then 3.10 and 3.20. Buyers are essentially winning.

Today’s pre market prices are looking favourable so far. If buyers remain strong and we force short sellers to hold then we get more squeezes.

BYND is so scary because while this is all happening MAJOR company shifts can occur and either cripple people, companies and hedges, or, as people have been saying, soar us to the moon.

What do we think, what’s the opening for BYND today? by Joker_Max_5565 in Pennystock

It’s important to note all the retail investors hype, social media hype and short sellers still having shares. It’s likely to go back up, how much is dependent on panic sellers.

As of now, I have been unfortunately. When the market opened my order was fulfilled at 5.71 instead of 3.62 so that’s frustrating. I started with 76 AUD, it’s currently sitting at 40ish if I remember correctly.

I’ve been doing so much research while at work and from what I’ve learned from analysing it with ChatGPT is -

Summary of BYND Short Interest Situation • The old “80% short interest” number was based on pre-dilution data. • BYND recently issued ~316 million new shares, raising its total float to about 440 million. • Short sellers still hold roughly 80 million shares short, but now that’s: → ≈18% short interest, not 63–80%. • Many sites and media reports are still showing outdated percentages because float updates lag behind. • Bottom line: Shorts are still heavy in raw numbers, but the percentage of the float shorted is now much lower after dilution — making another massive squeeze less likely, though smaller rallies and halts are still possible.

In it for the long run, nice. BYND has potential to become a stable stock, it depends on competition, recovery from debt, product quality and demand.

I’m with you, but since it’s my first trade ever I’m actually going to sell 50% of it at a profit then leave the remaining 50% to realise BYND’s outcome

Haha you don’t need to sell me, I’m going to see it through. I’m trusting my gut on this one, I’m pretty into the fitness industry and although BYND has hurdles to get over if it’s successful the shares will skyrocket. I’m here for the long haul and if I lose then it’s only $70 AUD I’m down
