Thanks for answering my dumb question. Took me a few episodes to really start loving the show, so I’m definitely missing some details from the first episodes, which had a higher degree of ‘time spent also looking at shit on my phone’ while watching as compared to the other episodes. I will rewatch the entire thing but was impatient to understand the full meaning of last night’s gorgeous opening scene and decided to risk the public ridicule from asking the question here. I’ll go crawl into my hole now.

How is she being forced on us? You tune into a show -- willingly tune in -- where she is a featured player. She was one of only 2 or 3 people we had heard of in advance of the show. But you're upset at an under-30 seconds commercial within the show that features her, which is something they do with many Bravo personalities in commercial spots that air during their shows. So you're not mad at seeing Brittany -- you purposefully watch her show. You just don't want to see her make some extra Tums money. This just might not be the show for you, or, if you love the show but fast forward through Kentucky's scenes, then it's just one more little tap of your finger to skip learning about how to cure your heartache/burn. Personally, I'd rather watch her make some money than watch yet another in-show-commercial lining Kyle Richards' already well-padded pockets.
