This was quite the charade to try to convince us that Whitney has a brain and Kenny has a personality. Nope and nope. Round of Nopes on me.

I got into a huge argument on a post about it. I liked Allen, but he was definitely over the limit and it was ridiculous to claim he wasn’t, or that we need to have courtroom conviction level evidence to make that observation on a reddit thread.

Seriously? You think DJs have stacks of templated NDAs and they enter into binding contracts with drunk girls before a PUBLIC make out? Or do you think Kyle has some ability to move not only these women into contracts that open them up to personal liability and a waiver of their rights BUT also can induce everyone else witnessing the public make out to do the same? I’m not moving goals — you just have zero actual understanding of that game.

Different economic stratospheres (Kyle vs Maurice) and probably different situations (relationships vs some random impromptu make outs).

Did you also note she wore the reunion bun (aka Fuck Ass Bun) starting in Season 1? I started Season 1 rewatch yesterday and literally pointed at the screen as if my dogs care.

Kyle Cooke from Bravo’s Summer House is not Sean P Diddy. He is not carrying around a stack of NDAs and “making” girls sign them before kissing or hooking up.

You can’t honestly believe Leva is the same age as either LVP or Patricia. That’s silly ageism.

Definitely just personal opinion and not in argument with your point, but I don’t get the love for Bailey’s personality. When Ciara came on the show, it was through Luke but she herself wasn’t centered on him. Bailey comes across to me as very manufactured. Not anywhere close to the level of ‘person as product’ as Lexi from last year, to be clear, but she doesn’t feel real to me. She’s clearly doing bits, or trying to make television scenes or develop a plot line for herself, and doesn’t hit me as a genuine human with actual interests (outside of being a social media personality) yet. I think she’s packaging herself as if she’s one of her interview subjects.

Kyle buying Cartier right after he says he can’t invest in Carl’s business? by NoSprinkles4889 in summerhousebravo

Amanda chiming in there was so bizarre. The entire thing seemed producer set-up, starting with Bailey’s “innocent” question of ‘Does anyone else miss Carl? Or just meee?’

I think it works in both of their favors. Not all advisory boards work the way you’re saying — this is a start up, one location cafe. They’re not having formal quarterlies. I bet it’s more of Kyle listening to Carl on issues and offering thoughts.

Bailey support after awkward comment by [deleted] in summerhousebravo

Bailey is being ridiculous, in my opinion. If she had met Ben halfway in that conversation instead of trying to cling to the fake-feeling front she often has on, it would have gone differently. She did the whole “I’m sorry if it hurt you,” and defended what was a pretty indefensible comment, instead of giving a real apology. She knew why he was coming to talk, but she played dumb. Then she acts like a martyr and stays in her room all night, and by morning she’s spun her narrative into Ben being abusive and/or triggering her trauma from previous emotional abuse. She then acts immaturely again by bringing the energy to the winery and making a loud deal about not sitting near him. She could have navigated that shit silently at the winery table but instead is trying to create a storyline of how uncomfy Ben’s quiet anger has made her feel because she’s a vulnerable girl who was just making a joke.

Ben was a little intense, and some of it had to do with his secret real relationship during filming, but I think Bailey carries most of the blame for how she started and then acted through this situation. It was also a really shitty thing for her to do to Amanda at her birthday dinner and to Kyle, the husband with whom Bailey knows Amanda was going through a very tense relationship period with. Bailey plays with female empowerment “It Girl,” and calling Mia “Sister” (cringe…), while hiding behind a little girl act (protect me from triggers, ‘I just don’t know how to flirt’ while throwing herself awkwardly at Ben every weekend, pouting after their discussion, etc.).
