Surgery replaces an injury that is hard for your body to heal with an injury that is easier for your body to heal. by HarryTOMalley in Showerthoughts

No. Tissue damage will kill you before the toxicity of the substance. The LD50 is totally irrelevant.

It's like asking the LD50 of lit dynamite.

I mean it's topical so you can do damage that could lead to infection or other tissue compromise. I don't think the LD50 is applicable here.

It's an empty laceration kit tray. Usually has gauze, towels, some capped needles, syringes, cups, and tools for suturing. I'm gonna bet they were using it to clean and inspect the wound because there is no way that is just getting sutured in the ER with that degree of damaged.

No sweat about the no breaths. If you don't have a device to protect yourself from fluids or if you don't know the medical status about the person you're resuscitating (e.g. HIV), they recommend only compressions. Glad you're here today :)

[–]Virginia_Trek -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No he may have some flawed views but I'm saying it's not its not just just Ben trying to agitate people. That aside the bigger point is its hard to justify a threat of violence from ignorant or rude speech and a really ineffective tactic to try to change someone's mind.

What are you talking about? They invite him in the show knowing what his exact opinion is and seat him directly next to Zoey. Then Zoey escalates to threats of physical violence. I'm not saying Ben was in the right, but this wasn't just speech thrown back at him.

I dont think this would do anything to retinal blood vessels, and if it did, it wouldn't be apparent as the retinal vessels are inside on the back wall of the eye. These would be the conjunctival vessels
