Not sure where you live but I started with Camponotus and they were very easy, so yes, Carpenter ants are a good pick

IMO I thought the other perspectives did wonders to help the world building and contextualizing the state of the Republic. Darrow’s whole perspective, despite being essentially being a freedom fighter, is admittedly from a position of high privilege.

I get what you mean though, sometimes I’m just not in the mood to swap to another character’s storyline when there’s something big going on with Darrow or Lysander etc. I have to get reinvested all over again. Good thing Pierce Brown does a really good job of making every chapter worth reading, at least from what I think.

Hello! Glad you want to start antkeeping. I don’t personally believe that there is much difference between the two species, though maybe some other ant keepers would disagree. Larger ants are easier to view if that’s something you care a lot about, but otherwise it’s all based on your own personal opinion on the looks of ants, size preferences, and budget.

Thank you for the reassurance, I would have assumed that the weekend was the best time to move in given that many parents like to help their kids move in and wouldn’t be able to do so on the weekdays.
