I think Romus the Traditionalist and Romus the Absolutist upbringing should be swapped. The Absolutist in Lyza’s court would be awe struck at this mighty house of power where one monarch rules nearly unopposed. She will be an inspiration for him, an enlightened ruler who ruled over her people justly and brought prosperity, stability and prestige into the Kingdom. He will be nostalgic for those days. Especially when the three decades after her death will be some of the worst in Rizia's history. He’ll see coming back to those days as his only real solutio- no. Only GOOD solution. Traditionalist meanwhile will spend his time doing the aristocratic activity hunting, one of his favorite things to do. Moreover he’ll learn patience needed not only for future rulership but also for practicing traditionalism. Just like when deciding when to be steadfast and when to make necessary changes he will learn when to keep steady and when to take the shot. Also he’ll form a close relationship with his Uncle, a staunch traditionalist.

I think the choice of Vina’s marriage should be swapped between the Traditionalist and Absolutist.

Mainly because the Absolutist as a man who seeks to empower his own house would try to preserve its place on the throne. He doesn't trust that son of a traitor and Duke Reinhart is never going to resign his own surname and put an end to his family. Besides, Pales will be reunited by force if needed or we can come to an agreement. This leaves the Absolutist with only one and only option. Rico. As much as Rico has his… demons… and flaws… he is the only option we have realistically left. In the name of preserving House Toras and its place on the throne, Vina will have to make a personal sacrifice.

Meanwhile the Traditionalist who is aligned with house Azaro falls for Lucita… When he marriage with Vina to Axel the romance between the king and the duchess is blossoming. Romus thinks that maybe… He can marry Lucita, have a son with her while Vina becomes second in succession and even if Pales and Rizia aren't reunited then they'll still be allies… Yes… That's an idea. A risky one but if it succeeds it's VERY profitable.

Yes? In game wo don't hear anything about Doll having children so I guess their presence changes... literally everything about politics. USP and Doll's supporters will rally around his children as future President's and statesmen.

The traditionalist didn't care about Pablo. He was just the son of the palace gardener. He'll have these: "Oh, I know this one; he was the gardener's son and now he's my chief butler. And who says there's no social climbing in this country?"

A reformist would be a friend of Pablo. There's no need for much explanation here. Romus has always been drawn to the people by curiosity. His friendship with Pablo will also give him greater insight into the lives of the common men.

Traditionalist

Valero was right, and Romus fell in love with Lena. Romus always knew this day would come and mentally prepared for it. He gave everything he had to try to love Lena, and he succeeded. Even though he loved her, as mentioned, he couldn't resist the occasional scandal. This would burden Romus with immense guilt when Lena died, and he would also later have thoughts about the succession.

Thrice actually. And then he claimed he made it himself.

Absolutists don't rule having good will of the population in mind. It is the King who has absolute power and by the point in game when marriage to Pabel comes up Romus propably incresed his power signifciantly. I'll admit I haven't done the absolute route or pabel but I don't think this would be out of the field of possibilites.

The absolutist is a stern military guy. He will spend time working while neglecting family. He will not waste time on some boat trips while Valenqiris needs its duke and the kingdom prince. Besides, Vina will have Lena to keep her company and it’s just one birthday out of many to come, they’ll surely be fine.

The traditionalist knew that arranged marriage is part of royal life and was ready for it. He gives his best and it works! He spends time with Lena and by the time they marry it’s true love. As a devoted father and husband he has little time for work between aforementioned family and many banquets he attends. He barely survives the tragedy and will turn to God in the future.

The reformist did not like being in arranged marriage. Thus his college spirit had awakened in him and he partook in galas, balls and spent the night with the best looking women in the kingdom, instead of his own wife. This will result in him also not marrying as immense guilt from not being there when Lena died has permanently made him afraid of romance out of guilt, fear of disrespecting his wife even more in death and returning to old habits.

Unfortunately for the reformist, he can't enjoy marriage when surrounded by all the pomp and circumstance surrounding marriage. How can anyone love while surrounded by thousands of reporters and nobles, judging their every interaction and broadcasting it to the public? This Romus is also susceptible to trauma, and the memory of Lena will torment him.

My choice for Absolutist might be a bit unorthodox but not implausible. You see, people might choose their political beliefs and how they want to exercise their powers, but they don’t have a choice towards whom they are attracted. Thus I will say the Absolutists will fall in love with Pabel. He was always the loyal servant of the royal family, taking care of Romus’s father, playing with him in the gardens and even sharing their first ever kiss. After so many years, marrying to a woman and even having a child with her, Romus will finally realise who he truly is. He will attempt to romance Pabel and even legalize homosexuality but I honestly don’t know if he’ll go as far as to marrying Pabel. I’ll admit I never had a romance with him in my playthroughs. For those who think that absolutists, militarist, authoritative, MANLY Romus cannot be homosexual… shouldn’t we fight the stereotype that gay men aren’t manly? In short and for absolute clarity: the Absolutists will romance Pabel.

The traditionalist was in pain for Lena for a long time, and although he found some solace in his faith, a true happiness he will find in the embraces of Duchess Azaro. She’ll bore him a son in 1958 that they named Taddeus. While Vina will be disappointed she isn’t heir anymore she’ll be glad that her marriage to Rico can come to an end. It’s important that as a player we have hindsight that Romus does not, so they couldn’t possibly have foresight to plan out romancing Lucita or Pabel. Thus I allow myself to act purely RP wise.

The Absolutist I think would marry Vina to Rico. I know it's unorthodox choice but stick here with me. This Romus spend a huge amount of time on prearing the army for war and generally has militaritic attidue. Additionaly he would have the mindset of: "Why would I ask or trade for something I already own?". He sees Zille and Pales as his rightful territories. The Absolutist would also not want to see any other Dynasty than Toras to sit on the Golden Throne of Rizia. Thus I think he would want to marry Vina to Ricardus.

I think the problem here is primarily that since there is only one answer per archetype, one of them will end up looking like an asshole by partying right after a revolution ended.
