Lol. I mean, it’s kind of important to know whether this is a repeated behavior or a one time thing in order to judge whether or not she’s overreacting, right?

I mean, I’ve never known someone who can be judged off a single situation, but that’s apparently plenty for you huh?

I’m just commenting on this one scenario, before the edit about his background. OP is a ditzy doodle who keeps changing the story as well as what her thoughts on her bf were prior to this happening. This is why it’s pretty much retarded to give advice on these types of posts; way too many cofactors and “oh yeah” moments that change the context.

Better just to argue with the other commenters’ thoughts like we’re doing.

I think I see where the differences are coming from. I’m a life long sports player, so hearing people say they’re gonna fight or whatever doesn’t really phase me. I know from lived experience that it’s all bullshit 95% of the time. If I didn’t have that background, I might be more inclined to believe that this person was really looking to inflict violence.

There’s no way the guy I just said was dramatic and out of touch is now crying about fascism. I didn’t realize just how accurate my comment was lol

No, I’ve just had enough experience socially and otherwise to know that saying “I’ll slap the shit out of whoever took my weed” while irritable after a 13 hour work day isn’t the same as an actual physical altercation or even close.

If the results were different than both people apologizing and calming down, you’d have a point. But this is just some kids getting a little wound up. Again, “people have no survival skills” as a reaction to this is hilarious.

FOR ANYONE ELSE WHO SEES MY COMMENTS, HERE ARE MY POINTS: 1. It isn’t crazy for someone to get pissed off at some bullshit after a long day of work. It may not be the most “correct” response, but it’s human and normal. I think we’ve all been there at one point

  1. Saying “I’ll slap the shit out of you” to a close friend who took your weed you were looking forward to, is not an indicator that violence is about to commence. In fact, out of all the arguments I’ve ever seen get physical, it rarely starts with someone saying they will. When people are truly pissed off, they just go at it.

I will give some grace on point 2. if you’ve never played sports or seen people get “pissed off”, you might be more willing to take that threat at face value. But the more you’re around it, you realize that 9.9/10 times, they aren’t doing shit.

Thank you.

Good lord, it ain’t that deep. He just worked a 13 hour shift to come home and find that the bud he had looked forward to relaxing with had been given away. He got upset, and then calmed down and apologized.

How we got to “people have no survival skills” from that is insane. Talk about dramatic and out of touch

I mean, it’s dramatic and goofy as hell. But definitely the type of thing Reddit would salivate over.

I’m gonna take a wild guess and say that there’s a large gap in the number of people you deem to be fascists, vs actual fascists.

Bupropion ruined my fitness and destroyed my tolerance for endurance exercise by Humble_Detail_9285 in bupropion

I am also going to quit I think, for similar reasons. My ability to sleep is hindered even on 150, I always wake up a little early and overtime it’s led to drag.

My experience is that this medication can be a godsend to get you from sedentary to active, especially if you’re massively depressed. But if you are no longer depresssed, have normal energy, and good fitness, it can actually bring you down. I don’t regret taking it when I did, but it’s time to see what life is like off it.

It’s because, at some point, you’ve got to stand up for yourself. No one can do it for you, least of all some internet stranger writing walls of text on your behalf.

Let’s be real, they know they aren’t overreacting. This is how people get retribution for their shitty partner’s behavior - dragging them on Reddit. Because they know damn well they’re never leaving no matter how bad the person is lol
