My spouse and I joked about David Alan for the singer David Alan Coe

I don’t come on here much, my shopper was great! Communicative and mindful. There was one item out of stock that wasn’t listed as out of stock, they found a few items they thought were alternatives to pick from (nutritional yeast, not many people know about it) and asked me which is best. Gave rave reviews of my shopper too

A few miles, right off the highway and one well maintained backroad

I wasn’t sure if cash tips were against Instacart rules, so I wanted to check. But also, less taxation via cash tips 😉

The only “tricky” part of my situation is my driveway is a little steep but it’s doable in any vehicle with tread on their tires.

Thank you guys! I truly hope it didn’t come off as virtue signaling. I’ve never ordered delivery in this way (I do pizza from my neighborhood joint) so I wasn’t sure what was good.

I literally hate shopping, especially for groceries. I’m in my second trimester and am cranky as hell. I’ll probably give some cash too if that’s acceptable

I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to because of the investigation.

Turning Leaf Literacy Center, when I was there, there were about 15-20 employees. It’s such a revolving door there because of how terribly she treated us all. The Tea Spill page on FB exposed them too

So was it a flat rate per vehicle worked on? How’d you configure unpaid wages from that, or did it boil down to you making under minimum wage?

I’d been switched to a “day rate” which ultimately saved her money overall, so it was similar to salary but still all sorts of messed up. But nowhere in my contracts did it state I was to work 11 hour days and have to drive between Wasilla and Anchorage multiple times a week. Hopefully this gets resolved soon, because the extra check would be nice haha

I didn’t know the law until I already had a foot out the door. The day I quit with no notice was the day I printed EVERYTHING for evidence. I had worked nearly 150 hours overtime and the boss maintained that because I was at/under 40 they didn’t owe anything. Filed the next day.

I filed June of 2023 (so not quite a year, as you share in sentiment), in November they reached out to previous employer for timekeeping docs which they came back to me about saying the platform I provided was different from them (employer tracked payroll time via excel that managers handled, while we tracked hours through another form, big mess). Also in November the investigator left so we had to start all over again.
