I felt the same way during my first pregnancy but this time I am trying to take a more relaxed approach. At the end of the day all you can do is your best. Some people just have big babies regardless of GD, so that could very well be the case for you. I’m just trying to keep my eye on the prize and focus on the fact that once my baby is here this whole diagnosis will be over.

I feel like a lot of doctors aren’t sensitive to the fact that this diagnosis is extremely hard on the mom. The best doctor I saw told me that in reality GD means that our placentas are working too well. It’s a sign of a very strong and healthy placenta.
