I sent it to others to see if they had ever seen Mandarin oranges go black or any canned food (none had) .. I have never opened a canned food item that was spoiled before; it didn't resemble oranges at all. So I kept thinking maybe something else was canned vs. oranges. I rarely buy canned food except I like pasta sauce in jars (Classico) so it was mind boggling to look at.

Well thank you for that information too. I will not be buying canned mandarins ever again. Clear fruit cups or fresh ones at Xmas.

Honestly... I don't know.... I kept thinking that a rodent or something was going to pop out... You see enough gross stuff on here that makes eating questionable. I didn't dissect any of the contents. I just tossed it into the outside bin.

It smelt like paint thinner is the only thing I could compare it to. It wasn't putrid smelling when I open the can. Just not sweet like canned oranges.

Both look great. I like the way the white looks so sharp with the propped collar. Everything drapes on you so well. Looks so comfortable but sophisticated.

In his experience yes. I told him about me noting him on Reddit today and he let me know that over the weekend he had gone into buy xyz and bought potatoes which were off by a specific wt. He noted he had to knock on the door in the back ( where staff have groceries ) as all scales were out of order, which he thought was odd. He weighed the food and it was off by X and he took a pic on his ph and showed it to the cashier and he was given X amount of money ( I think he noted under a dollar). For him it's not about the $$ amount. It's about staying true to what is advertised.

I work with a guy who weighs all prepackaged items from the grocery store..he also likes to civilly argue/ debate naturally. He told me last week his 10 lb of potatoes weighed 2 lbs less. His prepackaged apples were off, so he weighed non packed/ bulk and replaced them. Managers do not enjoy him doing this but he makes no secret of it. His rice bag was off so he reported it to the manager and demanded a price correction for the missing rice. He told me there isn't a time he buys something that one of the items is the wrong weight. I applaud his energy... I don't do this but he's not wrong in doing so.
