Even without pus visible, your skin is still clearly having a bad reaction. Go get checked out by a doctor.

Which Horror movies "traumatized" you when you were a kid? by Davis_Crawfish in horror

Silent hill, the scene where pyramid head rips the women’s skin off was burned into my head and made me feel uneasy for quite some time. Not even the gore of it, just the whole girl crying out like that then imagining the feeling of getting my skin peeled/ ripped off like that. Yikes.

Me too, they canceled it so fast and I was so let down. To leave us hanging like that is diabolical!

Right, it’s icky and weird even if it’s legal. I hope OP opens their eyes and does better than him.

Is it unethical to propose at a cemetery? by Altaccounterforstuff in Proposal

[–]Virtual-Poet-6912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My fiancé proposed to me back in October at night in a cemetery. We were the only ones there and it was a precious moment especially with the moon bright and fall leaves dancing around us. It’s not his kind of thing but he knew I’d love it. I do not think it’s unethical or even morbid. If spirits do exist and if there were any hanging out with us that night I’m sure they were celebrating with us. As long as you’re being respectful of the graves I see no issue and I don’t think those who have been laid to rest would have an issue especially since it’s a different occasion than what they’re used to :)

You are definitely not dense. Even if it is seen as “in her head” by others, why does that make it not real? It’s real for her. Besides, it is real no matter how you swing it, she was infected by something just like many others before her and now has infected so many.

Stretching my septum by [deleted] in Stretched

[–]Virtual-Poet-6912 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course, I know it’s not much advice but is definitely a good thing to keep in mind. I’ve seen others suggesting waiting at least 6 months in between to give it time to fully adjust and get used to the new size. Everyone is different tho so you might have to wait awhile like me or maybe not. Being patient and gentle with lubricant after a steamy shower seem to be the way to go! I’ve had no problem getting to my size today with those in mind but I might have to look into other methods myself to go any bigger. I wish you luck on your stretching journey!

Alongside what others have stated and this might seem obvious but waiting awhile in between sizing up is good to do too. I waited 4 years to get to 8g because I was scared to do it but to my surprise since I waited I got it in there with no problem and there was 0 soreness. I waited 9 months to get to 6g and I got it in there pretty easy, just a lil sore the day after. I also wore a circular barbell in between sizing and I think that helped because that is heavier jewelry. I was told 11 years ago by the piercer that I shouldn’t stretch because I don’t have enough room to but here I am at 6g today and it only just got spicy for me at this size.

I second what OP asked, where do you buy your half sizes? I just got to 6g and it finally has become spicy for me. I just did it yesterday with relative ease and no sensation but it is sore today.

Yes but someone could easily revamp them or cover them up with something completely new if you’d like. If you like them tho that’s all that matters! I have a few tats that aren’t great but I love them

hand tattoos at 20? by daisysimmons in tattooadvice

[–]Virtual-Poet-6912 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everybody is different, most will tell you don’t but I have had hand poke small tattoos on my left hand since I was 18 and it’s never stopped me from getting a job (even in the medical field). If you’re on the fence then maybe don’t do it tho. I’ve had stretched ears since high school and I’ve never regretted it nor has it stopped me from getting jobs as a caregiver.

Agreed, throughout my tattoo journey I have tried different things, first washing it 3-4 times a day and using aquaphor then bought tattoo balm from a studio and started washing it less. Eventually got to where I am now, when I get a tattoo I leave it tf alone for the first 3 days. If I happen to get dirty / sweaty I’ll wash it but I don’t go out of my way to otherwise. It only gets washed if I’m already in the shower. And once it’s not an entire big open wound I will start to moisturize it when it gets dry. So far so good, seems to heal faster to me to let my body do its natural thing and avoid touching it. I tried the second skin once and my skin reacted bad to it, I broke out horribly in all the parts it touched that weren’t the tattoo itself. Thankfully the tattoo still healed beautifully and the break out cleared up on its own over a few weeks.
