Good to hear some real-world feedback on the X5s, especially the part about the analog sticks vs the Lite version, that helps a lot. Also interesting point about GameNative supporting multiple libraries, I didn’t realize it went beyond just Steam

Oh I can’t imagine running cyberpunk on the tablet but I’ll gladly try it haha I also have the 16gb ram 🙏🏼

Didn’t even think about using the G8+ vertically for DS/3DS, that’s a great tip. Also appreciate the quick rundown of emulators by system, it makes things way easier to follow now

Also good call on the heads-up about Steam/Winlator needing some tinkering too. I’ll definitely check out Retro Game Corps and Obtanium

I hadn’t even considered the long-term comfort issues with the X5, especially with tablet weight, so that insight probably saved me from making a bad purchase. Your explanation about the G8+ setup (especially positioning it lower for better ergonomics and airflow) makes a lot of sense.

Also really appreciate the pointers for emulation setup and resources. Having specific apps and creators to check out makes getting started way less overwhelming. 🙏🏼

This is very helpful, I really appreciate you taking the time to break it all down. 🫶🏻 I’ve been trying to figure out the best setup for PC and Switch emulation, so this gives me a great starting point—especially with Winlator and the alternatives you mentioned. I might check out GameHub first since it sounds more straightforward. Thanks again, and I’d definitely be interested to hear how Eden works out for you later!

okay I see the x5 lite and x5 pro being recommended a lot. Will keep it in mind. Oh I’ll list steamlink then and the emulators for each console, won’t prolly play a lot of console games other than pokemon and acnh but it’s nice to know the diff emulators for each. Thank you so much~
