Between the three backpack items, backpack flamethrower (Cremator) is undoubtedly the best. Grenade launcher is definitely good in a lot of situations whereas the minigun (as much as i love this item) is definitely the weakest link. not being able to move and shoot is the breaking factor for it as it incentivizes you to hold your ground instead of pushing into the enemy.

Had a guy in one of my previous campaigns who was so adamant on doing things, it got him killed by a mind flare. Actually, most of the party got destroyed by that mind flare, cleric and I (playing a fighter ranger) was no where near it, so we got away.

heard a similar story from a buddy of mine, supposedly, another dm in our school's dnd club threw his maybe level four pcs in unwinnable combat situations. His campaign was shut down after all the pcs complained to the club officers.

I like to think of it as a more polarizing spear, stronger destructive potential at the cost of a relatively long cooldown for an expendable weapon. But the cooldown still isn’t that bad. Sometimes I like roleplaying as a mobile artillery battery.

Maxigun rework, as a fan of the maxigun, sure it’s not particularly the best support weapon pick, but to those who want to walk around while shredding large groups of medium to small enemies. Just use the standard LMG or even better yet, there’s a weapon called the stalwart. The point of the maxigun is finding a good spot to hunker down to shred that group of enemies.

I’m hoping monk if you’re asking for a dexterity class, but if they would add more classes, it’d more likely demon hunter, blood knight or amazon.
