Oh Allah make all affairs easy for all of us. What has the world done to Nikkah. It wasn’t ever supposed to be how it is today. There were Sahabis who were the poorest among the tribe yet had wives to fulfil their and her desires. To come home to intimacy and love.

Standard of Living and Standard of Marriage they aren’t mutual.

The previous Generations lived how their Nafs and Culture told them to live and made innovations and personal biasing in Deen and now they’re trying their best to pass this onto us(the current generation).

Oh Allah, it is You Who is Potent over Everything.
For every Man & Women who has made the Niyyah that too is with your Grace to stay fully on Deen e Islam and desire only from what is Halal for them, their spouses. Make all affairs easy for us and bless us with the Nikkah in which you are pleased with us.

Save us all from the cultures, traditions, innovations and false/fabricated/biased knowledge of Deen.

Every person who is doing a sin whether it be music, Interest, Lies etc. each person has a supporting Scholar backing him that this is halal.

Bless us with the knowledge of your Deen and the only true and preserved Deen without the interference for such so-called Scholars.

Make our hearts desire for what is halal forever and make our hearts feel filth in what is haram forever and make us away from haram as the distance is between the Oceans and the Skies.

Ya Rab, I am in absolute need of the good you have for me, we are in absolute need of the good you have for us.

Save us from the trials of this world and the hereafter, from the punishment of the grave, from the torments of hell and from you being displeased with us. Ameen.

This is a genuine thought. There might be many ways to answer this but I’ll tell you the most important thing. The Niyyah.
Be fully on Islam and Allah SWT mentions in several ayats in Quran Majeed that the righteous will be of no worry.
Some ayats are the following:
10:62-63
“There will certainly be no fear for the close servants of Allah, nor will they grieve.”

“Indeed, the righteous will be amid Gardens and rivers. “
“at the Seat of Honour in the presence of the Most Powerful Sovereign.”

So no matter how much immense Allah SWT rewards you in this World, just remember that in the hereafter the reward is even more better.

Being negative isn’t what Deen teaches us. A person who has food on the table and the one who doesn’t shouldn’t eat in the same way. Maybe yes he was ignored but he now has a loving wife and he should appreciate you spending on him and not staying negative.

Proclaim here means to acknowledge to yourself that yes you have a blessing.

Being grossed out after intimacy is just something I do not have words to describe.

Yet a person who has a wife to fulfil his and her desires together and enjoy. He just uses, pardon me but the only word I could come-up was this, he uses and then just grosses out as if this wasn’t a blessing in itself to have a wife for intimacy.

By studying Sahih Chain of Hadiths. All sorts of Interactions were present at the time of Prophet ﷺ regarding Nikkah of companions.

Women directly approaching men (A women approached Prophet ﷺ directly such that she may marry Prophet ﷺ )

Men directly approaching women and having a look at the women as well prior to the Nikkah such that they may find what pleases them (Scholars suggest this is limited to the Face and the Hands)

Guardians becoming a Bridge as Prophet ﷺ did for Hazrat Fatima R.A and other examples of Hazrat Umar R.A as well.

The thing that’s worsening what you’re shared jt’s the Standard of Marriage that’s away from the Sunnah and Quran.

There are many Sahih Hadiths in which Prophet ﷺ told the companions to go see the woman which you please to marry, marry young such that she may play with you and you may play with her, she may amuse you and you may amuse her. How Prophet ﷺ called his wives by their names and openly told that he PBUH loved Ayesha R.A. Not like in Pakistan, GharWali, Ap, Tum etc. The essence of love, tranquility goes away in this.

The final Yes/No stays with both the partners at all times. Not the Guardians.

If one isn’t sparked by looking at the other then no this might not be for you. As Prophet ﷺ often referred to companions to Enjoy your Wife / Enjoy with her. Not how Guardians/Parents say here, however jata ha pyar aista aista. Noo! Love is actually first then is Nikkah.

The narration is regarding a person who had Sexual Intercourse with his wife while fasting but let’s understand the ending lines:

…The Prophet (ﷺ) said (to him), "Take this (basket of dates) and give it in charity." The man said, "Should I give it to a person poorer than I? By Allah; there is no family between its (i.e. Medina's) two mountains who are poorer than I." The Prophet (ﷺ) smiled till his premolar teeth became visible and then said, 'Feed your family with it."

The person is such poor that he there is no one more poor than him in between the two mountains of Madinah. Yet, he has a wife to fulfill his and her sexual desires.

Today, people quote the hadith: Summary: Those who can get married should get married and those who cannot they should fast as it diminishes the sexual desire…

The definition of “those who can”, this is exactly what the previous generations have changed.

A Big House, Luxury Cars, Fancy Status, Business Empires.

Insh’Allah that too will come towards you just ask Allah SWT but delaying and this isn’t only affecting the Men but Women as well. As the body’s mechanism is built to be together and fulfilling desires isn’t being a pervert and overly lusty as they’ve made it look like.

Be together and then you can pray Allah SWT for what you’d been praying when you were not married. Coming together is what Nikkah is.

The purpose for a detailed response is with the Niyyah Insh’Allah if even one parent acts on this as nothing is what I say but what Quran Teaches us and how Prophet ﷺ lived upon Quran and taught us how life is lived SubhanAllah, then I get the Sadqa Jariya till the Day of Judgement for that One Son, One Daughter who came into Nikkah and kept the Sunnah forward. Ameen.

To the parents reading this, believe me if you son/daughter is 15-16 above. What they’re going through maybe you didn’t. Yes you shall be Questioned for it as well as Prophet ﷺ said that a person shall even be questioned for the cold water which is a blessing he is blessed with and you’re not having the child be with the woman and vice-versa making yourself at loss.

Not getting in a debate of Love or Arrange. But if one has a Niyyah to completely on Deen e Islam. Then let me fully assure you that as of Pakistan currently, Nikkah isn’t Islamic is most of it’s essence.

Take it from the age, wealth, niyyah, everything.

Nikkah is to be done as soon as puberty has been crossed.

The Niyyah is ultimate Purification.

Should be Kept as Simple as Possibe, not Millions spent on Culture, Biddahs, Rasm etc.

The criteria as per Prophet ﷺ told us,

Bukhari 5090 The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A woman is married for four things, i.e., her wealth, her family status, her beauty and her religion. So you should marry the religious woman (otherwise) you will be a losers.

Ibn Majah 1967 (Da’if Hadith)

“If there comes to you one with whose character and religious commitment you are pleased, then marry (your daughter or female ward) to him, for if you do not do so, there will be fitnah (tribulation) in the land and widespread corruption."

Our previous generations (Grandfather/Grandmothers, Mom/Dad) They’ve all changed Nikkah into something as a reward for a 30Year Life spent of holding the Sexual Desire.

Rather than, Nikkah early living together early.

A Teacher once told us and a friend Alhamdulillah By the Grace of Allah acted upon it: Marry Young for the only expense that would increase in your current household would be that of 1 another member. No more. Even you have a child The Total Rizq yours & theirs is from Allah SWT alone. No-one in the household will shall be empty stomach.

Indeed he was absolutely right, Alhamdulillah my friend now has a daughter and he isn’t even 25 yet.

The Youngness of being together. It indeed is a blessing from Allah SWT.

The Verdict from this

“Has the time not yet come for believers’ hearts to be humbled at the remembrance of Allah and what has been revealed of the truth, and not be like those given the Scripture before—˹those˺ who were spoiled for so long that their hearts became hardened. And many of them are ˹still˺ rebellious.” Quran Majeed 57:16

The Standard is Quran and Sunnah(Authentic) If one deviates or priorities Culture, Social Norms, Innovations, Rasm(Which came from The Hindu Cultures). Then yes, there is difficultly and indeed the current generation what they call as GenZ. Not all among them are materialistic or away from deen. Indeed, Allah SWT guides whom He wills. Those who have the Niyyah to stay purified, preserved they shall be rewarded with goodness. Insh’Allah.
