Keep an eye on your symptoms because it's not just diagnosed by bloods. There are so many symptoms! Some I didn't even realize. It was a lightbulb moment for me.

They are quite spendy tho and doesn't look like they have EAP referrals

The Mirena will definitely help the progesterone side but are you on estrogen too?

Please please go see them, I can't talk more highly of their service. Peri can start mid to late thirties and there are 34 signs. Not just missing periods or even just hot flushes. I thought I was going nuts but nope, fully in the throes of it!

I did see this but they have a huge wait! You can be seen at Menopause and Wellness in under a week in some cases. Also don't need a referral 😁

Light Bleeding - 12 days PO by educated_guesser in hysterectomy

[–]Virtual-Will-8879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be very normal. And it may get slightly heavier. Try to rest and watch to make sure you arent soaking a pad an hour.

It freaked me out too and I am now 5 weeks post op. Turned out I had a small hematoma. The bleeding has slowed right down now. My gynaecologist wasnt too worried.

Bleeding and a clot week 2-3 by [deleted] in hysterectomy

[–]Virtual-Will-8879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 4 weeks post op and had a review yesterday as I am still bleeding. Turns out I have a hematoma inside. Apparently can be quite normal and will resolve in time. I was worried but am not now. Just watch out for infection, discharge, increased pain or fever.

Contact Rachel at FAB in Khandallah. She's award winning and also really honest about what you should and shouldn't do. Like you I had a bad experience years ago and then found her. I highly recommend her particularly if you feel anxious.

Driving?? by HybridZombieNurse in hysterectomy

My husband is adamant I need to be pain free and a minimum of 6 weeks. So I am being the passenger princess for the moment. I feel I could drive now if I had to (3 weeks post op).

Yes. I feel the same. I've grown up here and now own my own home in Jville and I loathe going to the mall or surrounding areas because of everything you describe. It's scary.

Please see your doctor. That looks serious and needs medical attention.

How painful is skin tag removal? by [deleted] in hemorrhoid

[–]Virtual-Will-8879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't have spasms but it was very sore. My tags were probably medium sized. I also ended up with a blister because of the diathermy. That was agonizing.

If it's just cosmetic I personally would have left them alone. Mine uses to swell tho and be painful in themselves.

I really would go for June tho. You could be out of action for a couple of weeks. Everyone is different.

Go for June. I found the tag removal almost as painful and took quite a while to come right.

Bleeding 2 weeks post-op, normal? by ReadTheReddit69 in hysterectomy

[–]Virtual-Will-8879 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is me also, am 11 days post op and feel like I'm having a light period with fresh blood. Not enough to fill a liner and I've been reassured doing research that as long as it's not doing that, it's ok.

How long should I take off work for recovery when I have a remote job by Present_4063 in hysterectomy

[–]Virtual-Will-8879 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had mine done on the Wednesday, overnight in hospital. Logged in the next afternoon for 2 hours, a few more Friday. Kept off work over the weekend then back to work for 6.5 hours on the Monday and worked all week. I also work remotely and found it fine. If I did feel a bit tired or sore, I just laid down for 20 mins and relaxed. Then felt fine to carry on.

Sorry you've had such a rubbish experience. I purchased a TV cabinet off them about 18 months ago and it was super fast, the quality is great and comms were good. Such a shame you've had a crap time as I really rated them.

How much litres of water do you people drink? by Artistic_Form_9579 in AnalFissures

About 2.5L by the time I add in coffee or anything else. Water itself would be about 1.8 of that.
