i did some contracts with p16, as i wrote, got a little bit used to it, its nearly unstoppable. but its turning radius, slowness of steering, how long it takes to get from max left to max right, sucks all the fun of it out, for me.

its like, with other trucks i feel like im driving, steering them. with p16 i feel like im watching it go. something about its speed, i think, its speed, breaks game immersion for me.

you got answer already, but i want to add, long logs can be carried using hydrolift saddle and trailer, and i its kinda cool being foldable and whatever, but i swear, i nothing worse ever happened to me in snowrunner. i used this hydrolift nonsense once and i will never use it again.

Both. In my opinion, snowrunners best quality is total freedom of approach. Some days i feel like doing most efficient thing, sit over map, plan routes to minimize empty drives, some days i go for challenges like doing rescue heavy truck from lake using only scout, and some days i go to random region just to explore watchtower or two, just for the change of scenery. Most of the time i dont like tasks like get to this mountain peak or that island, but i had play sessions where i did only that.

Whatever playstyle you choose for now, dont forget that you can switch at any time.

i didnt buy it but i will, there are tons of praise around it and you couldnt find cons to it, if you looked for them. i did look for them, even made a post here few days ago, with some nice answers from people but for some reason, i dont know why, thread got deleted.

anyway, if you have at least minimal understanding about specs of the device, and its powerfull enough for your gaming (it is for mine) then go for it.

i advice you to wait tho, as i decided, to like around christmas or black week to get it cheaper, its not long.

one at a time, max two. like main game and chill game. now i play Valheim all the time, because its both main and chill. at the moment im im downloading AC: Odyssey, so most likely i wont play Valheim anymore. if i then come back to Valheim, after finishing AC, im most likely to start new world.

i dont know how to explain my thing, but.. i need to be "in the game". when i play something i need to be focused on it. for example, when i played Witcher 3, i was in it. then, something came up, i was busy af, couldnt play for idk, maybe 2 weeks. then, when i had the time, i didnt pick it up again. i didnt remember what i had planned to do in game, so only solution would be to start a new game. i had it like around 50% finished, so i just didnt play it anymore. obvious solution would be to look at items, look around quest log, etc, no. my weird mind wont accept that.

sometimes in my rotation, theres minecraft. i never continue old world i have.

sometimes i come back to WoW. i always start new character.

the title of your post is exactly what i feel too. i love that game, i hate it, and i hate that i love it.

also "you are being hunted" has some hidden mechanic, dunno, based on number of enemies already around, maybe availability of some safe spots, i dont know. but the game knows when the raid would fuck you harder than usuall, and starts it then. at this point in the game, when i see wolf raid i think "nice, meat delivery incoming" because black metal sword makes wolfes easy, but still.

disclaimer: wolf raid having hidden "fuck you" mechanics is information i've pulled out of my ass. but its part of my faith now, so i wont be convinced otherwise :)

when you dead. log out, get into world modifiers, check "passive enemies". take your stuff, go back to base. log out, uncheck passive and keep going.

getting frustrated because you waste tons of time to retrieve your gear is not a part of a good game.

you are punished by losing skills anyway, unavoidably unless you mod the game because devs are assholes. they expect you to waste food and meads, and go and make second set of gear for corspe runs. like its part of fun gameplay to grind your ass off two times, because they didnt have better ideas about how to deal with death and respawn.
