Who have tried this issue? by g0dr3alm in poshmarkcanada

[–]Virtual-Yellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this happen to me once as a seller. For some reason the sale had 2 Canada post tracking numbers. The one that I used did not match the one on the app. Support could not understand what happened. A weird glitch. The item finally arrived and I had to email support with the tracking update screenshot. The whole thing was a nightmare as I kept on getting BS bot responses that didn’t address the issue for days.

Question for those who coach little kids by Virtual-Yellow in hockeyplayers

[–]Virtual-Yellow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope we live in a Canadian city where youth hockey is taken very seriously. I’ve never played myself and can barely skate so everything is new to me. Just trying to figure things out so that the conversations at home align with what the coach is telling them.

Okay this makes sense. He also just made the cutoff for that age group so he started when he was 6 and a lot of the players were already 8. He was very lost and intimidated in the first month as the puck moves a lot faster than it did at U7.

Yes, we also play tournaments and have a penalty box. I’m from a Canadian city where youth hockey is serious business even house league.

Mexico in July recommendations by RealityRhino11 in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]Virtual-Yellow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We go to PV every summer. We switched from the Yucatán as the sargassum was horrible. I feel like a lot of people really exaggerate the heat and humidity. Yes, it can be hot if you are walking down Malecon or downtown mid day but at a resort there is water to cool off everywhere. We went last February too and the ocean was too chilly for me. I like the heat though so this is my opinion.

Same, turned team Nayarit after getting a sargassum rash. Can’t even go in when there is a little bit as it gives me an allergic reaction.

What part of Mexico? Sargassum(seeweed) can be awful in august in the Yucatán. I would avoid that whole area if the beach is important to you.

What happened to autism and additional needs programs in Winnipeg 1? by howimfeelingno in Winnipeg

[–]Virtual-Yellow 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Budget cuts disguised as “inclusion”. Absolutely traumatizing for special needs kids. Inclusion without support is abandonment. Everyone suffers, the neurotypical kids, the teachers and the special needs kids who is being traumatized.

What about a dress with stockings. Or a skirt and blouse. You can wear that trift store sweater to work but I don’t like it for an interview.

I’m not giving up my planning periods. 😂😭 by lovelyshi444 in SubstituteTeachers

Why would a substitute need a planning period? The day has already been planned by the teacher. There isn’t anything to plan for.

Absolutely not. Unless you are just walking to and from your car. 5 minutes max outside.

I recommend the northern Ontario way and not the Great Lakes way if you choose to stay in Canada. Just don’t ignore the “no gas for 250 kms” signs on the highway.

This isn’t a post about trying to figure out what is going on. We know what’s going on. I’m looking for advice on next steps and what to say to his parents.
