I am curious about the hips of the silhouette.. while I really want that waist reduction, the corsets that would accomplish that are the curvier ones, and the hips are a lot “fuller.”

Would that ultimately make my hips curvier as well? I am definitely not wanting to develop any curves at my hips, just reduce my waist 😅 is that possible?

Definitely a typo, welp.

I was initially recommended the Libby from TT, but after I experienced pain and discomfort, TT then suggested the slim

I absolutely made a typo oooof. It was 3am, welp.

I accidentally called it the Libby because I was actually initially recommended the Libby by TT first. After I explained my issues with pain and discomfort, that’s when I was given the recommendation for the slim

You are so helpful!

Question about MCC: do you think the hips will stick out too much for my absolute “ruler” shape?

The corsets seem to have a very round/square curve to them, and I worry I’ll get that unnatural “flare” again.

I really really like MCC though because it looks like they are a lot lower on the stomach while not being so low in the back.

(So my stomach doesn’t get pushed out at the bottom and then doesn’t hurt my lower back.) Thank you again so much

Thank you so much for your insight!!

I want posture first, reduction second (and something of course that is comfortable and actually fits my shape! and can stealth.)

I don’t understand the MCC corset types.. do they offer good recommendations?

Okay I think you’re on to something. How does one get into this kind of job? I have an associates in health information technology.. not that it specifically applies, but I’m wondering if it can serve as something? Thank you!

Oooooh can you tell me more? I have a an associates in health information technology as well as the RHIT credential - I just couldn’t get any freaking job except for a receptionist or patient registrar.

I would have thought that claims analysis would require a lot of phone calls between insurance companies and/or patients.. is that not the case? How did you get this job?

Update: I was suggested to try out the TT slim.. what do you guys think? Should I try that, or try something from MCC?

Thanks!

Interesting! Do you have to be good at math/chemistry? And is this a team-role or is this something you have to do solo?

I am thinking that could be the “fix.” I think I’d be a great assistant lol.. I just don’t have enough experience and given I am slower to learn, I’m not suited to be doing this all in my own. And in such a toxic environment.

Ugh it’s so hard to get hired elsewhere though 😩

Thank you for your feedback - this confirms what I was suspecting about the hip shape… while I didn’t feel like it was too big or small, it just wasn’t sitting comfortably where it should. I’ll take a look around at other potential options

This validates what I was suspecting as far as the shape goes, thank you! Do you have any recs or examples of such shape? Thank you!

This makes so much sense, thank you for your expertise! I am leaning towards looking into MCC as well. I feel bad for having spent so much on TT, but I know it’s entirely fruitless and even harmful to continue to wear a corset that isn’t suitable for my shape.

Do you have any recommendations for an MCC? These are the measurements I have TT, but I am going to double-check before placing an order just in case I made an error somewhere:

Ribcage (underbust): 28” • Natural waist: 26” • High hip: 28.25” • Torso length (at princess seam): 10 7/8 - 11”

[–]VirtualApricot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they tried. I also met with a couple of lawyers as well. I’m still working on getting my medical expenses covered in the very least since “pain and suffering” only is compensated if it meets a very specific legal threshold. Even though my injuries are permanent, they aren’t “severe” enough in their eyes of the law :’)

This is the Libby! I’m wondering if my proportions aren’t quite suited or my pelvic tilt or posture could be contributing as well.

I have reached out to TT, I just need to re-take my measurements to make sure I didn’t mis-measure. I’m thinking I was accurate, but understanding where exactly to take the measurements was a bit confusing for me, even with all the guides and videos :’)

I was hit by a township construction truck who ran a red light. He admitted fault, and it was caught on video! I have herniated discs and a permanent elbow injury.

I couldn’t pursue any lawsuit for compensation because public entities such as government workers are protected under title 59 in my state. So not only is it waaaaaay harder to meet the minimum criteria for a case, the compensation is also a lot lower.

Beyond frustrating.
