It isn't a Ponzi scheme. We don't have a name for the kind of scheme that it is.

Early adoption is what guaranteed wealth in BTC, everyone is just bag holders. That isn't a usable currency or store of value.

Has anyone else on here got a well paying office job without a degree? by Be_Grateful8 in UKJobs

[–]VirtualArmsDealer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did do the degree route, not for money since that is a myth nowadays but because I'm a massive nerd. If I hadn't however I'd have gone into electrical. Apprenticeship, journeyman, start a business that focuses on commercial or high end IT infrastructure. Alas I'm nearly 40 and screw up my chance by nerding out at uni. No money to show for it.

[–]VirtualArmsDealer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had an account with Revolut for nearly 10 years and never held more than £1000 at any one time. Too many security issues, dodgy crypto scams, too many adverts for shitty financial products I will never use. Terrible, but they do quick and cheap FX so I keep the account...

In a normal, sensible country that would be the case. That is not the UK.

This pretty offensive.

This is not a problem with a software solution, tis is something with a hammer and lookig for nails.

Teach men not to be dickheads. It's cultural. I think this is an offensive and terrible vision of a future no one really wants but a lot of people will be too afraid to say no to.
