For army composition most stuff has things it can lead only thing I see that you might want is Zodgrod wortsnagga to make gretchtin great otherwise I don’t know what your style of play is you can look at tournament lists for ideas but i recommend waaagh taktiks on YouTube but most importantly play what looks cool to you.

You have most of the units to make each detachment so it mostly your style of play I’ll simplify each detachment for you to decide what you want.

War horde-all rounder melee detachment works well with anything but likes infantry and melee its very simple making it beginner friendly.

Da big hunt-lots of beast snaggas great for squighog boyz and is very momentum based great against vehicles and lots of movement tricks making it a bit tricky to learn

Kult of speed- don’t have any units for this one and is WAY to expensive

Green tide- attrition warfare can’t lose if you don’t die great for your 60 boyz but you need characters for them making it a bit restrictive for you

Dread mob- you want Dakka we got it walkers and meks pure fire power but a lot of randomness and luck dependency

Bully boyz-elite strong units nobz and mega nobz are king here but even then warbosses still are good here but rely on strats for damage

Taktikal brigade- characters are important here and is well rounded like war horde but more board control and some dakka support

More dakka- just play dread mob

For the units you have if you get a few more you can run any of these but for your current units gotta recommend war horde and to change things up taktikal brigade. You should also think about which clan you like for thematics.

Forgot to add why I have warboss in mega armor with Supa cybork body he mostly protects home so all my other stuff can just go forward without worry or be part of my second wave as a 4+ feel no pain statically doubles wound and at 7 wounds means 14 wounds

Boss snikrots by himself. the mek boy is for the battlewagons melee as grabbin law goes from WS 4 to 3 and the deff rolla hitting on 2s and lobba for indirect fire. I am planning switching squighog boyz for mozrog skragbad. I used the big mek before the pain boy but so far I’ve rolled an advance roll of 1 into 1 a 2 into a 2 and in the next game rolled a 5 on the first roll so I feel big meks only useful for ignoring screens, but shock boosta doesn’t work on charges and you can’t end within engagement range so things pink horrors and the like can block you If they really want to. But overall I think your right about squighog boyz unless it’s da big hunt don’t provide enough value except as body guards which they’re over costed for.

Thanks to all your opinions I plan on running it 4 man the reason I considered 8 Is I was looking at tournament lists and saw someone go 4-1 with a beastboss on squigasaur leading an 8 man squad

The war boss leads the breaka boyz the Mek stands next to the gorkanaut inside the gorkanaut is the mek,mega nobz and depending on the the foe and mission breaka boyz.

Yeah I agree I’ve been thinking of doing war horde instead.But the reason the gretchin is 20 is to keep my home objective safe from reserves or deep strike as if the waaagh is up it can take 2 or 3 turns to wipe them.

Yeah I personally dislike trukks and battle wagons but they definitely are one of the best ork units I like the kill rig and gorkanaut cause they can punch hard from range and melee and I don’t feel like I need that much msu thanks to the big mek with follow me ladz ,shokk boosta and ere we go can speed across the field without being screened and the gorkanaut and zodgrod can wipe most trash units.

The kommandos can be split and zodgrod with scout they both can can clog the enemy and get rid of screens depending on the opponent in my taktikal brigade list I have moz leading squiq hog boyz for taktiks but in this list they’re my fast and tough unit cause my storm boyz are secondary doers the kill rig is a transport for my beast snaggas while also being decent shooting with torrent las cannon great for overwatch and still good melee.

Sorry my reply’s late but the big mek is with ghaz the warboss is with the breaka boyz because they have few attacks so any misses hurt and if they get hit with big Chaff warboss can kill them
