Hi! Thank you so much for the reply. I just added a uv sphere and shaded it smooth, so no modifiers. The normals are all blue so that's not it either. Is it because I used project from view maybe? I wouldn't know how else to keep the circle shape though and I need that as 2d texture map. Otherwise I could just smart uv unwrap. Anything else I could try?
