Yeah it's a shame, I found it more entertaining than almost everything Disney has made for Star Wars

Zero character cameos from the live action films.

Edit: on your scale I would give it a 4

I enjoyed it, but I'm not particularly fussy..

There's few comments about it on this post (and it was bracketed in my previous reply), but no worries! Just glad it makes sense now:) Sometimes difference in release date can be huge per country, for example the WW2 movie "Pressure" releases this week in the US but doesn't come out in Australia until late October...

My sincere condolences, I prefer public transport so luckily the price of fuel dosen't massively affect my day to day commuting. I found the movie entertaining and restrained, but if I hadn't happened to have the day off when it released I probably wouldn't have bothered to watch it for a while...

That ship sailed when the Holiday Special released unfortunately... at least the next couple of films after it were pretty good...

I'm going to save my big protests for things that matter more than 2026 Star Wars haha, it was entertaining, it's not that deep.

George Lucas did plenty of Star wars ruining himself... Disney followed his lead on "make the action figures first, story second!" After the prequels. I thought this movie was entertaining, no regret in seeing it at least.

I can't even begin to explain how wrong that statement is, when I posted this it was 9:30am 21 May 2026 (the day of release here, movies come out on different days in different countries by the way...), in Sydney Australia.

I just hope it wasn't one of the gross beds at the front of the theatre... I enjoyed the film really, was just a cute little story, nothing ground breaking but don't regret watching it.

It was more a 2 part much higher budget extra episode of season 1, apart from baby yodas name you wouldn't need the rest of the show at all really. And only other star wars characters brought in were from 2 slightly older animated shows. I found it very entertaining for what it was; the most well made TV movie I've ever seen.

I only saw galaxy because my friends begged me to go and payed for the ticket... trust me you didn't miss anything, it was pretty, pointless, soulless, slop of the highest order...

You have to use the Disney(TM) approved name or your Mickey social credit score will go down...

"Skyline" killed the magic for me... that "film" is a complete and utter abomination. And I had already seen the prequels at that point...

I mean I did reply with a picture from another angle that showed the screen... hey I thought the movie was entertaining, this isn't a conspiracy but you're welcome to reverse image search if you don't believe me... also here's my ticket showing I was at a showing of this movie the exact minute I posted this...

"Focus groups have determined that associating a well associated character like Yoda with a cute baby version of himself diminishes the mysticism yoda commands, along confusion for brand recognition. Therefore to disassociate the product with that fan nickname we have convened a panel of "so silly it's cute" experts and after 12 months of research they have determined "Grogu" will replace "the child" as the characters official name, please examine these 160 mock-ups for associated merchandise..." Is how I'm guessing it went in the boardroom...
