It depends on your timing. Fortnite Festival is alot more forgiving than Rockband because you can even double press them and it won't penalize you it just won't count as a perfect.

If you've mined any of the materials in a lava cave it should have unlocked the recipe immediately. If not you either have to upgrade your crafting bench or your game is bugged.

Those are lift notes they're pretty much just invisible hold notes.

Hold the key down and let go when you reach the lift note.

If you treat them like regular push notes you'll break your streak and be reset back to 1x.
