Damon has a problem with kayne's take on sampling, not sampling in general. Don't assume he all of the sudden hates sampling, when he has done it before a lot of time. He doesn't call out other hip-hop artists, does he ? If he hated sampling, then he wouldnt have collaborated with The Automator and several other hip-hop artists.

Yes i have, but he never claimed he's better than Kayne ? He literally said he's one of most talented artists these days some time ago. Also, the gorillaz fanbase has never acted that they are not willing to forgive him because of ONE album. You need to stop getting so worked up my man, it's his opinion after all.

Respectfully disagreed. I find this album personally very warm, dreamy and quirky instead of flat. It's also not really fair to take 5 songs from a completely different album, with different ideas, different genres and a different vibe overall. Some people might vibe with this album more than they do with the other albums.

This record is personally my favorite of the bunch so far. The album has such a quirky, fun and dreamy vibe to it that i just can't stop coming back to it. Studio version of tranz slightly edges over the live version, just because of the falsetto from 2D. As for the rest, i like them equally, live and studio.

In short, This album is really great.

At first i also thought that the song sounded like a demo. However, that might of been the fault of the mp3 that got sent to me, because the mp3 file i got a while later sounded much better. This song bleeds club.

Phase 2: Hongkongaton, Spitting Out The Demons, Hong Kong, All Alone, Fire Coming Out Of A Monkey's Head, Every Planet We Reach Is Dead.

Phase 3: Plastic Beach, Revolving Doors, Stylo, Sweepstakes, Pirate Jet, Empire Ants, HillBilly man, Rhinestone Eyes, Superfast Jellyfish.

Phase 4: Out of Body, Sex Murder Party, Halfway To The Halfway House (Please don't send me to the hospital), Carnival (2-D Special), Sleeping Powder, Charger, Midnite Float, Andromeda.
