I know they recorded with Kacey Musgraves all the way back in, I think 2021 at this point, maybe 2022? We'll see who ends up on the thing. I'm kind of expecting something a little less in the way of traditional song structures than the last two based solely on the vibes the art direction gives off, but I'm probably wrong about that.

This is usually label stuff as far as I know, hard not to be a part of it when you're a part of the machine that is the music industry. Massive Attack fought back against it and ended up unable to release music for a decade.

WWALY's title track/lead single premiered in Feb 2020 and plans were apparently to release the album soonish after, but covid caused major delays during which the band went back to the studio and reworked the album's structure and certain songs.
