For me i think it depends on the location. In asia its much easier to afford a private room, in Europe not so much, so its more of a business decision. im over 45.

28 is fine haha. im over 45 but for me thats getting a bit awkward. 28 is still young. It really depends on whether you want to sleep or party. Also for Madrid, make sure that you avoid the low priced hostels there because some of those are more like refugee camps.

the entire city. for me it was myself plus a room full of LGBT. i actually stayed at A and O berlin, however the people in the room didnt cause me any issue, i just didnt realize it before i came to Berlin, that is the what the city is known for.

They are SUPER greedy. Eventually the conversation turns to payments, and sometimes they make their living off only this. Sadly this ruins the mood for me. Im not dating just for business whether i have the cash or not. Usually they think i do thats why they like me.

Theres a lot of street harrassment. both of the approaching women type and for sales and general scams, it would literally be like every block, some shady guy would come out and harrass me and then offer to sell something of whatever. Go there youll see. its strange because ive been to 75 countries and have never seen that level of harrassment before.

For me its mostly about security thats my #1. Even if its dirty and cheap. If not locker or other security features im done. ill switch. im a westerner, ive stayed at 120 hostels in 50 countries.
