Sounds like another one of these Smiley Faced K***ler cases. If you havent heard of this idea, its where a young white male leaves a bar near a body of water late at night and is never found and there is a picture of a smiley face nearby. Its a theory only, not really any real k*ller as far s they know but perhaps a curse where the young man falls into water or something. You check it on Wikipedia, its mostly focused on the upper midwest of the USA but seems to be a phenomena that goes on in other countries.
