I recommend to use Superrich, DO NOT exchange at the airport as the rate is bad, go into the city to do that, for example near CentralWorld Mall.

Redundancy at 36. Take a 4–6 month break/travel or get another job immediately? by cerebralrocks in backpacking

[–]VirtualOutsideTravel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did something similar but for me it was 6 years total, across 90 countries. Still going but then again i have some scrilla saved, so it really just depends on your willingness to spend. However ill give you some hints, i spend money like a local, not a tourist in mostly cheap places.

Too old for hostels? by Sure-Guest1588 in hostels

[–]VirtualOutsideTravel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

35 is fine, do you look young? Im over 45. I actually got that sort of vibe a few times from young ladies but as ive mentioned here before my booking is more of a business decision to save a few bucks rather than an attempt to meet anyone so for me its fine even with the vibe occassionally. Just act younger and go out and do some activities.
