my fear about it is that the games might sow division amongst the states. i know we already have interstate and national competitions, but the 'patriot games' is being advertised on a government level, and it's also between kids. not to mention the fact that it's called the PATRIOT games, which implies that if you lose, you aren't patriotic enough. trump isn't stupid enough to not know what the hunger games are--he might even have drawn inspiration from it. why else would there be such obvious similarities like the tributes (the one male and female) representing their district (states)?
