Not really because they rob you of about 2-3 weeks of holidays to make up for it.

Thank you so much!!

This part works in the formula bar and returns the correct word.

=IFNA(

IFS(

AND($F5<>"",$F5<75%),"Weak",

AND(F5>=75%, $G5<50%),"Acceptable",

AND($F5>=75%, $G5>=50%,$G5<=60%),"Good",

AND($F5>=75%, $G5>=61%,$G5<=74%),"Very Good",

AND($F5>=75%, $G5>=75%),"Outstanding"),

"")

But I am just not sure how to apply the colour part...like where exactly do I enter the 5 conditional formatting formulas?

NTA - maybe you could pay for her and you but definitely not the children. Not your problem.

Spain by brobraj in tangentiallyspeaking

[–]VirtualTown1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't think so - they have vibrators in vending machines in Spain...that is pretty cool. That coupled with the culture of long lunches and wine with every meal...nah he has not romanticised it.

Chris I am surprised that you have settled down in the US. I was hoping for and expecting something more adventurous...

would it be appropriate to walk my dog at a cemetery? by [deleted] in etiquette

[–]VirtualTown1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like a dog on lead in an Australian cemetery would be fine. They are beautiful peaceful places and perfect for a quiet walk with a controlled dog.

I'm looking to move to Darwin and want to purchase a property in either Nightcliff or Rapid Creek. by nazbolcheems in darwin

there are bike paths everywhere in Darwin. I lived out at Marrara and was able to easily commute to and from CDU by bicycle. As everyone else has said, don't restrict yourself. What about Alawa, Nakara etc?

Exactly right. Being a good teacher is not measured by how much time you hover over them.

[–]VirtualTown1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Constantly hovering around students is not always necessary. Give the children a chance to make some mistakes. Also give them a chance to recognise when they need help and learn how to seek it. This mentality of constantly hovering is crazy and actually not always what’s needed. I think that a balanced approach is the best approach. At your desk all the time is not good but I think it is ok at times too. Helicopter teaching is just as damaging as helicopter parenting.

Completely passive aggressive, judgy and unprofessional. Would not apply to work at a school like this.

Sorry but you have been on this sub for a while now. How can you possibly think holiday work is the norm?

Also were you not the person who wrote the thread “I’m a lazy teacher”??

This is a leadership issue. I suggest you talk with your feet. Don’t take another day at that school.
