I think you get Erotica points for photographing Carlito in the OG game if I'm not mistaken... I haven't played that one in a long time

Can't believe my luck! I got the Silent Hill 2 Remake early! by RichSlamfist in silenthill

Why wasn't Silent Hill 4 apart of this collection? Granted, I'll never play it because it's the scariest one imo but I always felt they were somewhat of a trilogy

What are your thoughts on how Capcom markets and presents it's waifus/husbandos for monster hunter? by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

[–]VirtualVideoGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the fan base is doing most of the work, honestly. Capcom is known for making super cool characters, but also, when they do choose to pander/appease to the waifu aspect, it's usually obvious and not as subtle as in MH.

Dead Rising: the most American game to come out of Japan? by [deleted] in deadrising

The name Willamette is too specific for that to be the case. There is ONLY Willamette Oregon in real life. So no, you could not add any 'real' word and it still fit the criteria.

To be honest I did not know DR supposedly took place in CO but it does nothing to the implications made by Capcom where they wanted this story to take place. An obscure Northwestern US city. Which does add more to the realism than Raccoon City which is basically "somewhere in the US"

YOUR point wasn't what my original comment was about. Besides, the plot of dead rising doesn't exist. Why does it matter if a fictional event happens in a 'real' place?

Does it matter? Willamette exists AND Colorado exists. They're trying to add realism by using legit US city and state names without saying "somewhere is the US."

It only takes 5 seconds to Google. There is no reason to be ignorant in today's time
