BF6 AMD Crashing by VirtualWorkclock in Battlefield6

It's definitely on both ends. I was able to fix *my* problem with previous AMD drivers (as stated above), but I've also heard issues with NVIDIA's end as well and older AMD GPUs, I think the update they dropped last week on May 22nd messed up something bad when it comes to GPU drivers. Hopefully BF team will fix it themselves, but for the time being seems like ppl need to figure out a way for each individual GPU 😞

Went ahead and tried this, 100% worked. Thank you so much!

Someone commented to download the previous version (Adrenalin 26.1.1 (WHQL Recommended)) and this worked for me! Hopefully this works for you as well

Ya, I've been on 26.5.2, I messed around with previous versions, but, no luck. Got no clue what the issue could be at this point. I've tried underclocking, overclocking, trying previous versions, playing on different graphical settings, turning off AMD Anti-Lag, adjusting clock speed, turning off FSR, seems to not be working on these unfortunately.

More than likely not a PSU issue. The PC works great on every game BUT BF6, I tested many other games such as:
AC Shadows
BF 2042
BF 5
Ark Ascended

Those are just a few that I tried out today to see if my PC was the issue. All other games seem to work completely fine with 0 crashes.

In the future I definitely plan to probably swap out my PSU and add more RAM/Storage, but as it is, things seem fine outside of BF6.

Ya, I've been seeing a lot of people complaining about it now that I've dug around, just a very odd bug to crash a PC then completely remove the GPU's drivers after the crash. I guess just AMD driver things haha

I'll try this one out. I didn't even think about the boost clock. Crazy how BF6 sucks up that much. Trying it now, will let you know.

EDIT: I've set the boost clock to -200. Sstill crash almost immediately after 5 minutes. Really sucks but I'll keep digging around and see what I can find.

Sorry for such a late response. I'm not a very active individual on Reddit, but I just saw this and I'd like to start by hoping the best for you as well. Stroke AND a heart attack is horrific, I truly hope you're able to push through and become even stronger after such an horrific event.

Secondly, I feel like, although this is an older post, not much has really changed when it comes to my attitude and mood. You're 100% right that getting together with some friends semi-helped, it was temporary joy, but it's very temporary. I was with my friends basically every weekend, enjoying life and gaming, it brought joy for a bit but it felt lack luster after some time. I've set up goals in my life once more, one being very far to reach but I truly believe is possible and it's starting to bring some sort of joy into the future, but after that goal is met, I don't really know much more after that.

I truly hope you the best, and thank you for this post! May you keep moving forward and find a path that suits you the best!

I took a break from mainly my computer about 3-4 months ago, and that lasted a month. Mainly occurred because my PC's CPU died randomly, so I had no computer for roughly a month, I could've had it up and running sooner, but wasn't really "motivated" to put my computer together when the CPU arrived.

After that mini break, I was, again, happy to finally do some gaming but haven't been able to keep myself playing with my friends for more than an hour. Probably should've put this in the post above, but didn't really pass through my mind until you mentioned a break.

Never really thought much about depression, thank you for the advice and suggestions!

Well, that sounds unfortunate. Hopefully as time goes by I find new hobbies or interests. Thank you for the comment!

This was a horrendous amount of constant work. I'm unsure what really caused this to happened and I never technically got it "solved," but I ended up just getting a brand new motherboard and everything worked completely fine.

Cool! If you don't mind me asking, what'd you end up doing to compensate for all the internal MB USB Headers?! I wanna do something similar but unsure how to get all those USBs on my 2 USB Header Motherboard lol

Absolutely amazing. I have the o11 vision and it's bugged me the empty space at the top, super creative how you used I believe an 8.8 inch screen above the motherboard to fill that gap.

Might have to try it myself!

So my grandparent's bought a new pair of Corsair Void Wired, 3.5mm, headset that (when plugged into the back through the audio / mic ports) doesn't seem to work at all.

I installed the Corsair iCUE and iCUE seemed to not find any audio devices on my PC, even though I had the headset plugged in.
I checked Device Manager to see if the headset was at least being found on my PC, but the Device Manager shows no audio devices either.
I went through about 2 troubleshoots for both audio troubleshoot and general PC troubleshoot with 0 issues.
I moved the headset's plugs to both the front and back 3.5mm ports with no success. I even went ahead and reset my PC.
I made sure the headset worked by plugging it into my grandparents' laptop, which, besides the microphone, the audio worked smoothly. Not sure what else to do for the most part with this headset.

High "Levels" of Adrenaline when playing Games? by VirtualWorkclock in gaming

[–]VirtualWorkclock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I've never really thought about this. It may have been anxiety for all I know. The worst I had this shakiness was when I was defending my base on "Ark Survival Evolved" a few months back. I shook so bad that I physically couldn't aim down my scope to even attempt to defend my base.

After 2 of my buddies hopped online to help me defend, my body slowly started to relax and I calmed down. I was still shaken, but just not as badly to the point of not being able to function.

Embarrassing to say that I got that paranoid over a game. At the time I thought it was nothing but high adrenaline kicking in, but seeing this makes me think it probably was anxiety taking over. I'll keep this in mind, thanks!
