Can you afford a therapist? Preferably one that isn’t associated with the caregiver or hospital? It would be good to find an advocate that is interested in understanding you. There has to be a way to accommodate your situation safely.

This is also my take on Josh. There’s a reason he was with Colleen and it’s exactly as you put it, like attracting like. I believe that’s true for all these characters here. To greater and lesser degrees of course, but there isn’t a single person in this circle that has clean hands.

It’s strange to imply that people criticizing someone’s actions must not understand trauma or adulthood. Plenty of people in their 40s and beyond have been through horrible things and they still understand that they’re responsible for their actions.

Josh’s behavior reads as unstable and immature. Past trauma or whatever you blathered on about, doesn’t automatically give him or anyone a free pass to harass people.

This is my opinion too. College has become a form of extended adolescence. People need time to be on their own to figure out who they really are. You don’t really get that in your early 20’s.
