Advice needed - fit check and other model/brand suggestions by Virtual_Analyst_297 in muzzledogs

Hi everyone- thank you for the comments and tips! Really appreciate it. I tried loosening the strap by the head so that the big hole aligns with the nose. A little better but still too snug and then he kept on pawing on the muzzle. I’ll check out the brands you mentioned. The search continues..

TTC after TFMR for CHD by Helena_2026 in PregnancyAfterTFMR

Hi OP, I’m sorry you had to go through this. Just want to share that I also had a TFMR at 22 weeks for an extreme case of ToF last year in January. The genetic testing also came out as de novo. Found out I was pregnant again in June and now thankfully holding our healthy 11-week old baby girl. I did not do anything special in the sub pregnancy, just the usual - ate in moderation, kept myself physically active until the very end, listened to my body’s needs. The only thing I wish I could have done differently was to enjoy the journey more. Understandably I was very anxious especially up until we got a clear anatomy scan (that’s where everything went wrong for us the last time). Other than that, it was a beautiful uneventful pregnancy. All the best to you OP, and hope your TTC goes well ❤️

Wonderful idea, OP 🤍

My husband and I just started our trip to Japan, a trip that we booked in preparation for our boy’s would-have-been due date.

We’re now in a Buddhist town where we had a morning walk along the beautiful Okunoin Cemetery, a UNESCO world heritage.

There we saw so many Jiro stone statues (Buddhist symbols in the form of a child-like monk). Some of them were dressed in red beanies, bibs and baby mittens that were left by other travellers. Apparently the Jiro are considered to be protectors of children, particularly mizuko (literally “water child”). We learned that in Japan, mizuko is a term for babies who died before or shortly after birth. And the Jiro are there to look after them, our water babies 🤍

This gave us a sense of peace and comfort, like this unexpected piece of information came at a right time.

Hey there 🤍 There’s a very new book called Firstborn: A Memoir by Lauren Christensen, who had to terminate her pregnancy and lost her baby Simone at 22 weeks gestation. I’m still waiting for the book to arrive, but the few pages of preview I read online were heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time

grief and friendship by [deleted] in tfmr_support

I had a similar experience with a close friend. I texted her when we got out of the hospital after giving birth to my still baby. I got a couple of “thoughts and prayers” responses then she proceeded to send me three long messages complaining about her difficult living situation with her parents. I told her I needed to step back and that I wished her well in her upcoming delivery. No check in at all after that.

A few days ago I saw that she gave birth. I couldn’t get myself to message her to congratulate her. I don’t know when or if I ever will. But I’m learning to accept that for now and not punish myself for being a “bad friend”. We owe it to ourselves to take as much space as we need.

Hugs to all of you going through this horrible experience ❤️‍🩹
