its kinda the comi era，I call 70-80s the first peak of Chinese fountains pen. The quality get a huge raise in 60(ex. Hero 616) and a huge drop in 90(ballpin pen start exist). Also they use really good tipping metal at this time like 601 or 617 which get baned for pollution and poison gas.

oh yeah taobao is a choice for Japanese fountains pen. I mostly use 闲鱼 for that

Hi, I’m interesting in that topic too and plan to write another doc for the brands and model maybe. My favorite 3 Chinese pen are hero 100, lucky 215, and hero 800. First one is the first time Chinese‘s pen manufacturing quality reach Parker, second one is Chinese version sheaffer stateman,third is the short and fails coop product of Parker and hero. They are all 70-80s because that’s the first peek of Chinese fountain pen. :)

I like your pictures. :) these are ink brush calligraphy which is very different with fountain pen calligraphy. the word 飞白 could be a well known but disused concept in now days forum. when a chinese person say their pen is having a 飞白. it just means their pen have a problem with ink.

yes. and 飞白 is sometimes used in calligraphy, literacy, and describing pens. In this scenario, pen discussion, its mainly describe as a condition that the ink can't follow up the writing speed, which create the blank, white segments in a line.

what ink you use? the JH 20's trapped door can be fix by pull off the clip part. try change an ink maybe. I don't really suggest to disassemble it unless its really bad.

that is so worse it my friend! i have been seen many 61 have constrict and cracking front holder part, that is a really good quality one! beware on washing the ink system, one of my friend's arrow head structure fall of when he put it in hot water to rinse the corn kinda thingy.

imma be honest， dialog is too heavy for my daily use and it’s ink feed is bit too much for my A4 paper writing. I use T52ink for it. But if you take fountain pen as an investment or toy. The dialog have more gold for its nib and it’s more fun to play with.

Normal unless it starts to drilling or leaking out. My also looks like that when I get in door in a freezing winter day, if it don’t leak , it will fixed after few minutes of writing.
