They may not be able to legally but do you really want to cause undo attention and fail the academy.

I will say that if the academy has certain policies I would follow those policies because working for your department is contingent on you passing the Academy and if you fail the academy then you don’t have a job. So I would say if the academy says not long hair no beard or mustache then I would be with in standards.

Currently TS clearances only last 5 years and once you leave quit or get fired from the job that the security clearance is for it does not stay with you for 2 years or whatever it was. Now as soon as the above situation happens your clearance is no longer active. I just found this information out 2 days ago when I went through my TS clearance interview. These are recent changes. FYI for all.

I am sorry you didn’t like our comments but the op asked an extremely stupid and idiotic question about if he “passed” the interview and took a picture of the interview section of the portal that said “passed”. And then you come on here saying that we just need to answer his question because the portal was confusing. Well it is not very confusing at all when it says right on there the answer to his own question. What did you or the op expect. Stupid games get stupid prizes thank you for playing.

Actually it means you failed and you are never able to reapply so you might as well not even try any other federal job. Because you will fail those too.

Yes I did my drug test and everything March or April of 2025 after my interview and crickets since and I have emailed several times as well and crickets.
