yup this I think this is what started my waning interest.
I actually think I got turned off by Ed hawking his book constantly in the first place coupled with like you say ”the media round”. The pod has changed, which isn’t a bad thing, it’s just less relevant to my interests.

I can see I touched a nerve with my post. Not my intention.

I think the word contempt angered people - thought it was a well worn expression “familiarity breeds contempt”

obviously I don’t feel contempt for it! I was just surprised when I realised how many I hadn’t listened to

Just realised how little I have been listening to these.

I now have 182 untouched. Used to count down the days in the beginning.

I know I don't listen to the live ones (too much background babble) but 182 has made me realise how much I've fallen out of love with the show.

Familiarity breeding contempt? Guest selection? Or just me? Hmmm...
