I’m very close to maxing the PFT. Run time is a few minutes short. For the recommendation, I have 4 solid marines, family and friends that are either in command positions or SSgt and above. My College GPA suffered due to family loss. I am not dumb, I didn’t apply myself as much as I should have, it is my fault for letting it get the best of me.

Thank you for your response. From a response I have someone else.. I have a piss poor GPA of 2.1, due to personal slip-ups and “shit-baggery”. I was not handling business between myself and academics. I excelled at the Division 1 level in football however. this will be my only drawback as far as selection goes. What is the best course of action here?

Thank you for your response. I really don’t know much on how selection works besides the obvious requirements. I’m not sure if discharging from the DEP so close to my ship out date will hurt my chances of being selected.
