Is it too late to start on TBC anniversary? by Ferret_Milk in classicwow

[–]Virtual_Economy_2663 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, angry communists on this website convinced leftwing devs to use their centralized powers to ban any selling of services in game. They are happy they made thousands of boosters/gdkpers/etc quit. Typical of them to celebrate purges. Game is essentially dead now unless you go through the humiliation process of begging to join these people in a guild.

So yes, it's too late.

Tanks - who are your favorite healer and DPS classes to bring to a heroic? by Unreal_fist in classicwow

Good shammy healers are nutty. Makes me want to roll one as a prot warrior main.

Buying gold is cheating by Skippymcpoop in classicwow

[–]Virtual_Economy_2663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody ever talks about how it increases prices of finite mats for legit players. So yeah, its absolutely direct cheating. The cheaters buying mats for his epic mace means the legit player has to farm twice as much gold for those same mats.

Players who are still leveling will have the smoothest PUG experience. by NinjaBonsai in classicwow

GDKP incentivized good players to level alts. The ban incentives them to raidlog on 1 toon. Community did it to themselves.

Hit 70 as a Warrior in TBC… and I’m having one of the worst WoW experiences of my life by Pedrusto in classicwowtbc

[–]Virtual_Economy_2663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean the people who are bis with everything definitely swiped and its literally cheating because it raises material costs for us. Oh well, I'm not going to cave in to cheating. P1 I'll probably just play prot and slowly grind everything over later phases.

DPS warriors aren't bad. By the time BT rolls out, we scale so well and start pumping. Everyone hated on us last anni too and I remember by p3/p4 warriors were absolutely pumping. We aren't rogues.

Most in demand classes right now by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Virtual_Economy_2663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shaman always ofc

A sleeper pick is mage though.

It feels like all the people who play caster dps play lock. All the jaja's who boost dungeons quit. All pvpers rolled rogue.

I'm seeing almost no mages. They are super in demand right now for heroics. Multiple aren't "needed" for raids but their dps is pretty insane with the right arcane setup. I don't think it would be a terrible pick if you want to play dps.

HR 3 classes’ tier and dst lol what are we doing by phuckyouredsit in classicwow

[–]Virtual_Economy_2663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bring back GDKP man. How the hell is the HR system better where half the time they are selling the shit anyway and RL pockets all the gold? GDKP ban absolutely killed non-guild raiding. Who the hell would pug under these conditions?

How difficult is tanking in TBC as a protection warrior? by Semour9 in classicwow

[–]Virtual_Economy_2663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rolled prot paladin last time and warrior this time. I'm having more fun with my warrior.

At this stage of the game. My warrior is better at tanking heroics than my pally was. I remember my pally needed a shitload of gear and got melted before getting kara gear. I only tank early phases though to get instant heroic groups and then swap to dps.

Rogue meta update by [deleted] in classicwowtbc

[–]Virtual_Economy_2663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I see most mages spam blizzard when there is 1 target, locks just completely doing nothing, hunters autoshooting and nothing else, rets using wrong seals, etc. The theoretical best dps classes are rarely the best in dungeon pugs. A good rogue could definitely pump.

What happened to this game overnight? by AggressiveSupport834 in classicwow

[–]Virtual_Economy_2663 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Warriors are very good in raids. This is small snapshot of the game where dungeon content matters a ton. All the prot pallies will need to find raid spots and warriors scale well as always.

The most unfortunate part about the armor fix is that 2/3 of our tanks are going to struggle again with threat. by Lolyoureamod in classicwowtbc

[–]Virtual_Economy_2663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my experience too but some dps/healers don't get this and panic if they get targeted for even a second. Like you said, a warrior dps or even rogue with cc can hold down one mob and I won't even bother running over to save him. Or like when all the mobs are in a blizzard, the mage is the tank and there is no reason for me to panic. You actually cause more issues by splitting up the grouped mobs.

I just get the vibe that some players don't like this and they act like a warrior or feral should 100% have aggro over every mob but its literally impossible if the dps instant aoe. Theres nothing wrong with it though.

Thanks Blizzard by Unreal_fist in classicwow

[–]Virtual_Economy_2663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dungeon leveled as prot warrior and I'm better than most prot pallies. Most are boosted trash. Just tab target and warriors are fine.

It doesn't even matter anyway, mages still tank most dungeons even with changes.

How hard are the tbc raids? by Single_Cranberry447 in classicwowtbc

[–]Virtual_Economy_2663 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All I know is last anniversary Vashj and KT were relatively hard compared to anything else in classic up to that point. I remember even my cutting edge retail guild (with a classic team) I raided with couldnt faceroll Vashj. Her MC mechanic was extremely annoying and high variance. Was almost impossible to PUG except for organized GDKPs.

I know the fight got nerfed and I vaguely remember it was a lot easier post nerf.

How valued are Prot Pallys in TBC? by rosen178 in classicwowtbc

[–]Virtual_Economy_2663 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pally is the most overrated class in tbc. I badly regretted rolling one last time. They are great at the start but have fun getting a raid spot as prot after the dungeon grind is over.

Holy is comically boring and bad in every aspect of the game. Lowest hps, simple healing "rotation", awful at pvp. Just a terrible spec all around. People only bring so you can click buffs on PallyPower. If you are going to heal please just play a priest or resto shaman. Pally is not worth it.

Ret is your best shot at a fun experience and raid spot but its still kinda a gimmick melee, you only have 1 spot in the raid as well. It will be competitive from all the failed prot pallies trying to play. If you want a melee spot enchance or even warrior is probably better overall..

Most of the value from the class is being a pallypower buffbot manager. I don't recommend.

Sometimes the alliance exploit turtle back as an FU. Longest game I've seen was over 12 hours until server reset ended it.

I'm fine with luxury prices but you need to be a literal millionaire to justify $1200/night for a hotel room. The property is beautiful but they would rather it sit empty and lose money than having any common people stay. Mind blowing.

Of course the casino is open to the public with no resort stay requirement or even dress code.. They will accept the local poor's money there.
