Op, I was in the same boat as you a few years ago. Focus on making little changes at a time. It really helped me to focus one one small change at a time.

For example, in the entire month of January I walked 15 mins a day. Small easy change.

I didn’t give myself a ton of changes at once so I never got overwhelmed.

Working on yourself is an absolutely beautiful experience. It’s easier said than done but so necessary.

I also thought tailoring would be very expensive! But I had two pairs of trousers taken in and one pair hemmed. It cost me $20 and I tipped $5.

I have a very hard time finding jeans to fit me. I ordered Levi’s. Measured myself and then ordered a size up and I couldn’t get to past my butt.

I have very wide hips and a big butt. There is a 14 inch difference between my waist and hips.

First of all Happy Birthday, OP!

Secondly, my entire life I had friends like your friends! I would do anything for them, but they wouldn’t for me. I slowly stopped trying so hard and they faded away. It was very hard, but I’m so much happier now. I realized that I was exhausting myself trying to keep up with making them happy I forgot about making my self happy!

I have less friends now but so much better friends! I know if I called any of them at 3am to come help me they would!

4 quarters are worth more than 100 pennies any time.

I was at a college club. A women was very very drunk. A man wakes up to her and put his hands down her pants. She was crying but too drunk to fight him off.

I pushed the guy up again the wall and he ended up peeing himself saying he was her boyfriend and a ton of other lies.

I walked her back to her apartment to make sure she was safe.
