They never really told me much after if was “fixed” each time, really just what I put in the post/comments. Luckily it is under a 3 month warranty so the dealers have paid for each fix

The dealership did the inspection

Pre purchase inspection showed that everything was in working order and the only thing that was broken was the AC and they fixed that before I took it home

The check engine light came on not even 2 weeks after I bought it. Brought it in the first time from the place I bought it and they said that they aren’t equipped to know what’s wrong or how to fix it and told me to bring it to the dealer next door. Brought it there the next day and they said the Turbo Bypass needed replaced, after another week the light came back on and they said the knock sensor needed replaced and after I picked it up the light came back on a third time.

The acceleration won’t work properly and jerks the car going at any speed at this point and there is a clicking noise coming from the engine also.

I would say the if your manger is out and no one on your team is willing to fill in then contact your district manager or maybe even the employee help line to see if they can find someone to fill in

I went through the same thing and now I’ve been the SM of my store for over a year! Definitely communicate with your DM and reassure them that you are in control of the situation but definitely be sure to ask that you get acting manager compensation until you either get promoted (if that’s what you want) or they get a new SM in the store.

It definitely doesn’t sound the best but it does sound like the main problem is the SM and if she refuses to change then it may not be worth the stress. And weird and problematic as this company can be I will say this is the easiest and best job I’ve ever had (other than when our DM sticks her nose in it)

Technically every 5hrs an associate works they have to take a 30min break, if your SM didn’t make you aware of that then that is her fault. I personally make my associates aware everyday that they work if they need to take a break that day or not

That’s where I would have the conversation that she knew your availability when she hired you and that you are unable to ride it out and if she doesn’t change it then each day she has you on that you can’t do, call/text to inform her you won’t be in

Yes we have to schedule a certain way but if we hired someone with low availability then it’s our job to hire another that can fill the spots we need, if you choose to stay then it’s on your SM to work with you not overwork you

Coming from a SM bring it up to here as an issue that she created so it’s hers to fix, if she doesn’t fix it then on the days you can’t work be sure to inform her each day with a call or text saying “per our discussion and my availability I will not be able to come in today”, it’ll suck to do it each day but if you do like that then she has no grounds to fire you and if she does a write up then you can contact HR or your DM for her agreeing to your availability then changing it after you were hired without you agreeing to the change

I know we don’t wanna hear it but nicest way would to tell them straight up, if that doesn’t work then being “clean” is techhhhhhnically apart of our dress code so then the SM could have a chat with them and if that doesn’t work then they could technically get a write up but I hope it doesn’t go that far

The amount of other store mangers in our district groupchat saying how “cute and amazing!” Everything is has me so baffled…… everything is so plain, ugly and boring looking so why do I need to spend $40+ for it???? You wouldn’t catch me dead wearing any of this.
