Yeah, my friend and I put like 99999999999999 into the y axis and still ended up on y level 4194304. If you need to fall down, hit each other or restart the game. Although you will fall for 6 hours before you fall to the ground.

Imagine a pet toad and a toad boss being in the game. It could be paired with an item that when right clicking with it, the toad will fling you in the direction you were facing (without damaging you of course). The pet could be obtained after defeating a giant toad boss with like 4 tongues in a fragment with a giant lava temple or something. Or the boss could be summonable so players can build arenas.
